Chris "Beanie" Wells - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

He will battle nagging injuries for most of his career, and will more then likely suffer a major one. Has the talent to be an elite NFL back for 4 to 5 seasons, but his bruising style will take it's toll on his body. He will have a shorter shelf life then most backs but the years he is on the...

Can teams still win with only offense?

A team on the cusp is the Texans. If they could buikd a sturdy defense, they could make a serious run at the playoffs.

Ken Whisenhunt vs Mike Tomlin epic matchup?

It's a nice side story for Pit and Arizona fans because the Whiz wanted the Pit job, and everyone wanted him to have the Pit job but Tomlin got it instead. For the rest of us, doesn't make much of a difference. And don't kid yourself, Tomlin inherited this team, he didn't form it. This is...

Dom Capers is the new DC in Green Bay

As a Texans fan, I saw how far Capers was out of his element as a head coach, but he is an outstanding D-Coordinator. This is an outstanding hire for the Pack.

Can teams still win with only offense?

As the Giants proved in last year's super bowl, defense wins championships more times then not. A top offensive team with a lackluster defense can look damn good inthe regular season and win plenty of games, but playoff football is a completely game all together.

Would you want TO on your team?

For my Texans, no. Johnson is the #1 and would outshine TO and Daniels is an emerging TE, thus TO would tell everyone that Schaub, Johnson, and Daniels conspire against him to keep the ball out of his hands. Houston is a young team, and young players are very impressionable to over the top...

Lorenzo Neal - Best full back of his generation? HOF?

I agree with Runnik. The FB position is very different in that it is hard to measure a fullback's worth because many have such different skill sets. Many of the good receiving FB's are average blockers, while the best blockers usually don't have good hands or can run the ball very well.

Brian Hartline: Why did he declare?

Someone will take a chance on him in the late rounds, but he's got all the makings of a 4th receiver on an NFL roster.

    Homers/Fans - Post your team needs/wants here

Houston Texans Offense- C-The value of a veteran center would help a young o-line mature. A true leader on the o-line has really hurt here. While a young talented center would be nice for the long term, an experience player here would help solidify a shaky o-line. RG-This is a gaping hole...

Is this QB a future Hall of Famer, Part II?

Let's see. Kurt Warner has now led the lowly Cardinals to a Super Bowl while golden boy and the savior of that franchise Matt Leinert sits on the bench watching. He has now led 2 of the 3 teams he's played for to the Super Bowl, how many QB's can say that. And as far as his loss goes, it was to...

    Declared Junior Discussion: QB

Stafford has potential, but still needs plenty of work. Freeman looks like a decent prospect, but will never be a top QB. Sanchez isn't nearly as talented as Leinert. No way Im drafting a USC QB. Nate Davis? Really? Come on. Is he serious?

Lorenzo Neal - Best full back of his generation? HOF?

Where would Alstott fit in to this argument. He was a hell of a lead blocker and a good runner for a fullback. While neal is the best blocking back of his generation, Alstott was an all around fullback. He was a 6 time pro bowl fullback, 3 time first team all pro,71 career rushing touchdowns...

    1/18/09 - Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers

This game is a testament to what football is all about. Hard nosed, in your face defense. Odds are, when the casual fan looks back on this game, they will be disappointed because to them, it will have been a low scoring snooze fest. But to the real fans, this game should stand for what makes the...

So who has the NASTIER D? Balt or Pitt?

The Steelers have the better overall defense from top to bottom. The Baltimore Defense is a much harder hitting defense, which they showed against Tennessee. While the Titans did move the ball effectively, it was the constant pounding by the hard hitting defenders that forced turnovers, and this...
