Playoffs: 49ers @ SeaHawks

It's a tough place to play, no bout a doubt it, toughest anywhere. But all good things come to an end and the road to the super bowl stops this Sunday for the SeaHawks. Their offense and especially their QB have regressed the last month or so though they're still playing top notch defense. My prediction isn't so much about what's wrong with the SeaHawks (there's not a lot) but rather about what's right about this 49er club. The 9ers are headed up towards the season end which is the opposite direction of their opponent Sunday. It seems like Kap waits until season's end to turn it on and for the most part he's done exactly that again this year. Their banged up defense has become a mega force to reckon with and I don't think the Hawk offense will be able to consistently do anything good this weekend not on the ground and not in the air. Take the 49ers and you'll be glad that you did.

I think this will be very low scoring. FG battle to the end. Would not be surprised if the score is 12-9 or some such.

There's no doubt that Wilson has struggled ever since that second meeting with the 9ers in SF. Not sure exactly what the deal is, although he has played some tough defenses in those games. But something still looks off, he's misfiring to wide open guys and he's not seeing open receivers at times down the field. Maybe its a mental thing? Whatever the case may be, I sure hope he gets over it this week because his poor play might be the thing that keeps SF hanging around in this game. I expect Seattle to find a way to put enough points up in this one to come away with a victory.

49ers seem to be intimidated by that stadium for some reason......just don't see them making that big of a jump from the last 2 games there. They will make it a game, but in the end, Hawks take it 23 - 16.

The SeaHawks open the week in Vegas as a 3 point favorite and with a slight tilt in the wagered $$ it has moved to 3.5 at almost every location.

I'll take the 49ers plus the 3.5 please.

I honestly like that line, will take Seattle and give the pts.

For no particular reason, I feel strangely confident that SF gets a win tomorrow.

I think playing 3 straight on the road prior to this game will help and they just look tough and focused right now. They need to stay away from the pushing and jawing and the stupid penalties that go with it. Getting an early TD would go a long way in the confidence department for Kaep. Hopefully Harbaugh lets him play his game and not be running the ball up the gut the entire first half.

I'm with you "E" in that I see a not so difficult win coming to the 9ers who are the better team. An early score would be more beneficial in shutting up the crowd than boosting Kap's confidence. I don't see any signs the last month that it is lagging in any way.
