Fan duel - week 3

Alright, week to forget last week, time to get off the ground and make a few bucks. Going to try th he 10 man leagues this week.

Who is everyone looking at this week.

Thinking injuries will play a big role this week, would love to start Bell if Bush is out. Just too good of a match up.

Looking at Stafford at RB, but worried about stacking too many Lions, but the temptation is mounting.....

Well likely stack a lot out money on WRs

I haven't looked at it thoroughly yet, but I did notice that DeSean Jackson's salary has caught up to his performance this week--and against the Chiefs' secondary, he's an even worse value. No more cherry-picking DJax.

Where is he now? I stayed away from the Thursday game, so didn't see him.

Edelman may be a nice value as well again.

He went up from $5700 the first two weeks to $7400 now.
Wow. About time they got that right.

I was shocked to see so many people I was playing against who didn't have him on their squads. His name practically jumped off the page at me. He was the first guy I locked into my lineup, and probably the only guy I didn't change.

Im glad they changed it though. I like the challenge. I don't want the chumps all finding the same solid player that I look to grab

I jumped into a Thurs-Sun league tonight. Hoping the buyers will play on the Axe theory of "I gotta have someone in tonights game." They can go ahead and load up on the Eagles this week, I don't like the price on any of them.

I do however like the price on Bowe.

Other nice cheap -os this week that intrigued me. Charles Clay in Miami playing Atlanta and Josh Gordon making his return. Risky, yes? Save you enough money to load up elsewhere? You betcha!

Garcon is too cheap this week in my opinion. Any players in the Det-Wash game are good by me.

Ok, here is my first stab at this week,

Stafford - $8500
Bell - $6500
Miller - $6500
Green - $8600
Garcon - $7000
Nicks - $6800
Cook - $6000
Bironas - $5000
Buffalo - $5000

Have $100 left.

I love Stafford value. RB's are a work in progress, injury reports will play a part here, any values you see and like?

Investing in the wrs this week. Green has a nice match up with the pack and should have a nice rebound after a slow week. Nicks I think it's due for one of his big weeks, Cruz has been hot, think this could be the week for nicks to break out a big game. Er, good call on garcon, I like the play as well.

Cook looks like a nice value, hit and cold, hoping to get 12 pts out so.....

I may regret entering four contests that included Thursday night game--just to fade the guys like Vick and DeSean that I figured would be used but have crappy games. That worked to some extent, but in each of the four leagues, there were also a couple of guys who had either Charles or McCoy, too.

i think i am going to continue to stay away from Thursday starts.

I am going with pierce at rb for Miller witch allowed me to bump nicks to Nelson.

Deep and cheap players that might be worth a look...

Jake Locker $5400 vs SD. The Chargers have been the worst team in the league after 2 games against the pass. I know, I know, Locker is pretty awful, but this could be some decent cheap points here that saves you 3k over the guys like RGIII and Stafford.

Romo $7700. I see Romo as a pretty good value this week, likely to put up solid numbers at a reduced rate.

Jason Snelling $4500. Bargain for the guy who will get any likely goal line work for Atlanta. Not a ton of upside, but for that price, you cant expect much.

Gio Bernard $5700. This price is way too low for a guy who just scored 2 TDs last week. One of these weeks hes going to explode for huge yardage and leave BJGE in the dust forever. I feel like its coming soon..

Bernard Pierce $5900. Only downside to this is that it will likely be a popular pick among those looking for a bargain RB.

Joique Bell $6500. See Bernard Pierce. Probably a few less people looking here with Reggie being questionable to Ray Rice who is out. The matchup is lovely for sure.

Rashard Mendenhall $6700 Ugh. Hate mentioning this guy. Its a good matchup vs New Orleans though.

Knowshon Moreno $6900. Should be one of the most popular plays of the week vs Oakland. Knowshon is running away with the Denver RB job too. Should see plenty of 2nd half work.

Nate Burleson $4900. Simply a matchup play. The value is solid.

Rod Streater $5000. Should be very pass happy in this game while they're getting blown out by Denver.

Tavon Austin $5900. Guy should see plenty of targets in this one. I gained some faith last week.

Mike Wallace $6500. Solid price on a guy who could potentially see his price rise into the $7000 range as the season marches on.

Hakeem Nicks $6800. Carolina boy going home for the first time. I feel a big game for him coming on. Total gut play here.

Boldin $7000. Duh

Garcon $7000 Double Duh

Jordan Reed $4500. Should be a ton of passing in this game. This dude is taking Fred Davis's role.

Tyler Eifert $4900. Cincy should play the air a ton in a potential shoot out with GB

Jared Cook $6000. Pretty good price here on a guy who has shown what his ceiling can be.

Martellus Bennett $6000. This price is WAY too low. The matchup doesn't scream "look at me" by any means, but this dude is way too involved in the red zone to be this cheap.

Minn D $5200. Anyone not starting this D either had money left over and went after Seattle, or theyre dumb.

Buffalo D $5000. If you don't have the extra $200 left over to get Minn, give Buffalo a try vs NYJ

Yeah, I had Bell in the four games I entered that included Thursday's game, and it looks like he'll stay in for my six Sunday leagues:

Tony Romo
Joique Bell
Knowshon Moreno
Calvin Johnson
Anquan Boldin
DeAndre Hopkins
Jason Witten
Randy Bullock
Seattle Seahawks

I feel like I found some pretty deep values in my post early. Anyone taking Jake Locker at QB this week had a real nice start and saved a ton of dough. Romo, Snelling, Pierce, Bell, Garcon, and Burleson were all pretty good plays.

I bricked pretty hard on the rest though. Mendenhall, Tavon, Nicks, Reed, Cook, Eifert were all pretty terrible, especially Nicks. Looks like I cant pick a value TE to save my ass.

I may scratch out a week in the black. RB bargains helped, Stafford hit, nicks sucked, but only had him in 1. Wrs were sold, but no one blew up. Cook is looking more like a 1 week wonder.
