Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Cadillac Williams appears to be entrenched as the team's starting running back this season, according to ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas.

Lol, I could have used this report last year before the Shula draft.

Not big news, this thought it needed to be mentioned.

So what do the outlaws think of Caddy this year? Some feel the bucs will be an improved team, if they are could this mean a great year for Caddy? Could he finally put it together?

Anyone who has the balls to draft Gore and Williams as their backs have STONES.

Touching Tampa Bay offensive players is risky.

(RotoWire) Williams is currently the "unquestioned starter" at running back for the Buccaneers, reports Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com. Analysis: Everyone expects backup Derrick Ward to get a fair share of opportunities, but it appears Williams will open the season with a very large percentage of the workload. He will be a full season removed from his latest major knee surgery, but the injury prone label remains and should health problems strike again, Ward is ready to take back carries.

Cadillac parked during practice

cbssports.com,
Bucs RB Cadillac Williams walked off the to the trainer's room with more than an hour left in practice on Sunday. Williams, who has come back from surgeries to both knees, was not limping. Bucs coach Raheem Morris said after practice that Williams suffered a mild ankle sprain and is listed as day to day.

Analysis: Phew! Luckily, Williams didn't suffer a setback with his surgically-repaired knees. Ankles get turned all the time in practice, so for the Bucs to say it is a mild sprain is a relief. After two injury-plagued seasons, Williams bounced back in 2009 to play in all 16 games and rush for 823 yards. The fact he continues to be injury-prone means Tampa Bay won't likely trust him to be an every-down back in 2010. We still feel Williams could emerge as the Bucs' top back this season, but look to him more as a low-end No. 2/high-end No. 3 Fantasy RB on Draft Day

Even though it's just an ankle sprain, it's not a good start to Caddy's season. Anything injury-wise with Caddy I don't like.

We saw Caddy at TC today. He looked excited to play, but wasn't running at full force prior to the ankle sprain. I have two words for the Bucs running game this year... Kareem Huggins.
