At best his is a diva, worst he is a sexual predator. I don't like the guy, think he exemplifies the worst about the NFL and social culture. That being said, I think he is owed, like everyone else, a chance to defend himself from such serious accusations. He should be able to play until there is proof of his guilt. He asn't arrested or charged with anything. At this point, it's a civil case.
First, I agree, everyone should be given the right to prove themselves as to guilt or innocence. As much as I am not a A. Brown fan, he does deserve that right, as does the lady who is accusing them.
However, some are missing some key factors here. The NFL does not need a criminal charge to act. The civil case regardless of outcome can give the NFL enough evidence to decide if he is guilty of what is accused or not. Regardless of criminal guilt or innocence.

My question is, where does this fall. Domestic violence? If so , we could be looking at 6 games. Perhaps more if the evidence is compelling. I also believe if he settles this case outside of court(which is rumored he was trying to do) that is assumed guilt and can still be punished.

Per a story at PFT, a writer for SI has come up with more issues with Antonio Brown, including one incident with a painter at his house who was female. This guy is really starting to sound like a major jackass, but he keeps skating.

Per a story at PFT, a writer for SI has come up with more issues with Antonio Brown, including one incident with a painter at his house who was female. This guy is really starting to sound like a major jackass, but he keeps skating.

  • Sports Illustated's Robert Klemko reports Antonio Brown is facing sexual misconduct allegations from a second accuser stemming from an incident in 2017.
The accuser (whose name Klemko did not reveal on the condition of anonymity) was commissioned to paint a mural at Brown's home when AB spoke to her while allegedly naked except for a hand cloth covering his genitals. Klemko goes on to describe numerous instances where Brown reneged on agreements, inventing sources of conflict to get out of paying chefs, publicists, trainers, valets, personal assistants and even a charity. Aside from stiffing his employees, the article also alleges Brown intentionally passed gas in a doctor's face during a check-up and allowed party guests to freely smoke marijuana in the presence of his children while repeatedly ghosting those he owned money. Overall, Klemko's profile paints the portrait of a deeply disturbed narcissist with chronic anger issues and little regard for other people. Brown is finally back to playing football but the dark cloud of controversy swirling around him continues to grow.

  • Antonio Brown's lawyer Darren Heitner released a statement Monday afternoon that denied AB had engaged in sexual misconduct allegations.
Specifically, Heitner's tweet stated, "Antonio Brown has reviewed the sexual misconduct allegations made by an unnamed artist included in a recently published Sports Illustrated article and denies that he ever engaged in such activities. There will be no further comment at this time." The NFL is reportedly scheduled to meet with both Brown and the original accuser at some point this week. AB will be on the WR1/2 map when he faces the Jets in Week 3 if he continues to avoid the commissioner's exempt list.

  • Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the league interviewed Britney Taylor, who has accused Antonio Brown of sexual assault and rape, for 10 hours on Monday.
Taylor was Brown's first accuser. There has since been a second. There's a strong chance Brown meets with the league this week, as well. The Patriots have made it clear they will play Brown until the league intervenes, but there remains a real possibility that the commissioner's exempt list is in his future.

A wee bit more on that story PhiCin for inquiring minds and such... :)

  • Sports Illustrated's Robert Klemko reports Antonio Brown sent harassing text messages to the unnamed accuser who shared allegations of his unwanted advance toward her in 2017.
Brown allegedly sent intimidating messages in a group text, including a screenshot of her kids. The accuser's lawyer has sent a letter to the NFL asking them to step in. This is the latest incident that puts Brown's status with the league in jeopardy, as the Personal Conduct Policy prohibits "harassment, or similar forms of intimidation." With a potential placement on the commissioner's exempt list hanging over him, Brown's Week 3 availability looks up in the air.

If this is proven true I think Brown is done for some time. If not then he should be.

  • Patriots released WR Antonio Brown.
The Pats confirmed the move with the following statement: "The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time." The move comes amidst increasingly disturbing reports regarding Brown's involvement in various sexual assault accusations. The Patriots will move forward with Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett in 3-WR sets. There is a strong chance 31-year-old Brown never plays another down of NFL football.
