Christian Ponder is now expected to start this week for the Vigings. Josh Freeman has been diagnosed with a concussion.
Looks like a Coach and GM looking for a graceful end to the mess they created and were chastised for continuing. Now the NFL will have to investigate when this concussion happened and why he finished the game. (unless he got it in non contact activity at practice)

Both ESPN Dallas and the Cowboys' official site expect DeMarco Murray (knee) to play in Sunday's game at Detroit.

Jacobs said he can't commit to playing Week 8.

Manningham has a chance of playing this week.

Shorts & Blackmon both returned to practice yesterday.

Spiller says he feels 10 times better this week compared to last week.

Fred Jackson & Gronk will both play Sunday while James Jones is still expected to miss the Packer game.

Farve turned down an offer from the Rams this week. Serious here folks, it really happened.

A.P. was officially "full" in his Thursday return to practice.
AP isn't 100 percent, but doesn't have to be to be a top-five option at running back. Per Pro Football Focus, no running back is gaining more yardage after first contact this season than Peterson.

The Cowboys' official website doesn't envision Miles Austin playing this week against the Lions.

Bruce Arians insisted that Carson Palmer will remain the Cardinals' starting quarterback.

Santonio Holmes hinted he may sit out through the Week 10 bye.

Ron Jaworski believes Jordan Reed "will be sensational" in the Redskins' offense, and compares him to Aaron Hernandez.

Mario Manningham will not play this week against the Jaguars.

The Houston Chronicle believes there's a "good chance" Ben Tate (broken ribs) "won't be healthy the rest of the season." They go on to speculate that he will not play this week. Tate has been a slow healer in the past.
