Fox Sports' John Czarnecki reports the Chicago Bears haven't totally abandoned the run (75 rushes in three games), but they are averaging only 2.8 yards a carry and RB Matt Forte's longest run is 11 yards. They will try to get better in the run game against the Lions.

NFL Network reports that Browns RB Jamal Lewis will not play in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Bengals. Lewis was considered doubtful for the game and has been battling a hamstring injury.

According to the Chiefs' official website, WR Dwayne Bowe (hamstring) will play in Week 4 against the N.Y. Giants. He had been considered a game-time decision and was listed as questionable for the game.
 
The Lions lead the Bears 7-0 on a Kevin Smith TD. Kevin is 3 carries for -2 yards bit got the one yard TD when it counted.
