So we are down to 2 draft picks left unsigned, both 1st rounders - Sam Darnold and Roquan Smith
Evidently Atlanta realized Julio was serious and have upped his money and he is going to camp - details have not yet been released -per PFT
Wr Pettis - 2nd round pick of SF has signed
Owner Jerry Jones stated HC Jason Garrett is not on the hot seat - which means.......
Cardinals sign FA S Tre Boston
Washington - three huge players avoid PUP - Rb Thompson, OT Williams and TE Reed.
Cardinals - also sign LB Arthur Moats
DE Julius Peppers starts the year on PUP

First - Andrew Luck looked extremely good in practice, especially on a very windy day - Great to see Luck back!
Next:
* J. Gordon as the stomach churns - so by league officials, and team officials there has been no failed tests....HOWEVER - it has been released that for Gordon to join the team, he has to file a motion with both the team and the league to be re-instated - HUH???
* Evidently the Cowboys don't understand the definition of freeze - per NFL all polices on the anthem have been locked and frozen while they meet with the NFLPA to see what is the best course - both Jerry and his son have been quoted to say ALL cowboys will be on the field for the anthem and standing - IF they want to be a cowboy. good grief.
* Giants are worried over the hype and the pressure that brings for rookie Rb Barkley. Per John Mara- he hasn't seen this much hype since Lawrence Taylor was drafted.
* Washington has signed back up Qb Colt McCoy to a one year extension - approx. $7 million dollars
* Seattle and Earl Thomas are at a stand still - he won't report til he gets a new deal, but Seattle has decided they won't talk to him UNTIL he reports. - this could last a long while folks....
* Tennessee OT T. Lewan is in camp, but will not partake in any activities until his contract is done - he is on his 5th year option at $9.3+ million.
* Dalvin Cook Rb Min - has been given full release to practice - team will still limit him still to let him get back into the groove
* In another bit of news - Tampa bay has NOT committed to starting Winston once he is back from suspension - there have been rumors out there they may just cut ties and let the kid go - they really fear he will knucklehead again.

Well that didn't take long. Tenn signs OT Lewan to 5 year $80 million deal, $50 million guaranteed - makes him top paid lineman now per ESPN

And now for the news....
- Carson Wentz Qb Phi - has been cleared for full practice and contact and has already started full contact practice - wow...
- Sam Darnold and Roquan Smith are holding out due to language in their contracts - that being they can lose guaranteed money if they are suspended - due to the new helmet hit rule, both are balking at this.
- Per local reporters - the Rb starting position in Denver is wide open - between Booker, rookie Freeman and some others
- Wr John Brown Bal has really been impressing in Baltimore - not hard with that crew they have....
- TE Vance Mcdonald was carted off the field with a foot injury yesterday
- Rb Elijah McGuire NYJ out 3-6 weeks with a foot fracture - will have surgery, but not sure if he will be put on IR or not
- Lb Khalil Mack Oak - still nothing going on there and he is holding out

More camp news today:
refs were at Eagles practice to clarify rules for the new helmet rule....and surprise even the refs didn't come to an agreement on calls. This is going to make games much, much longer folks.
Eagles got more good news - Wentz isn't the only 0ne back LT Jason Peters as well.
Suddenly folks seem to want Dez on their team - See A. Brown of Pittsburgh.....

Late news update - been busy....
Minnesota has extended Wr Stefon Diggs - 5 year $72 million
Flacco seen being used as a Wr in practice - :eek:
Current Jets Qb depth chart - McCown #1, Bridgewater #2, Darnold #3 - but Darnold will be given shot to get starting nod
OT Garrett Boles does not have a concussion - that is good as mandatory missed time in camp is 2 weeks I think
Cb Gareon Conley is hurt again - hip strain will miss a week or more.....
Miami LOVES Albert Wilson Wr - but they don't know what to do with him - expected to be slot guy, team feels he is better outside....
in Cleveland - Hue is raving on the growth of Baker Mayfield - but continues to state Tyrod Taylor is the starter.....
Wr Rishard Matthews has been placed on PUP - no report on what the injury is though
Carolina has lost Cb Ross Cockrell for the season due to multiple fractures in both tibia and fibula

News update:
- Jake Ryan ILB is confirmed - torn ACL - out of season for Green Bay.
- Jordan Matthews Wr NE - has been released - has a severely injured Hammy and he can't stay healthy
- N.E. bringing in Eric Decker for a visit - yeah they could use some depth and good size
- Tampa Bay extends GM Licht for a few more years
- Denver has its Butt practicing again...yeah couldn't pass that up :D
- Saints sign Brandon Tate(formerly Cincinnati and Buffalo) and Michael Floyd (formerly Arizona and Minnesota)
- no contact between Seattle and S Earl Thomas
- Seattle Wr Baldwin will miss a few weeks due to knee issue - no release of what the issue is, but they are saying he will be out multiple weeks
- LA Chargers DB Trevor Williams sprained his ankle and will miss time - they just lost Verrett again
- Raiders still not talking to Mack on contract - they need this guy...

Now I feel better. I think the Tampa guy was only extended by one year to prevent him being a lame duck this year. Speculation is that he and coach will both be gone after this one if the team doesn't improve and they are unlikely to do that playing in the south.
