Where will LaDainian Tomlinson go?

How about following Turner to Atlanta? Then we wouldn't have another year with a dozen proclamations about how Norwood is really going to get the ball a lot more any time now.

Quite possible. But youd need to clear a spot in that backfield. Odd man out would probably be Jason Snelling.

I honestly dont see any NFL team kicking down his agents door to sign him for what he will want to be paid, he will have to settle for a lot less cash. IMO he is a season away from being done.

Buffalo does need RB help

I think Tomlinson is one of the rare guys smart enough to know if he wants to continue to play, he has to take alot less money.

Agree. Going to a good situation with a playoff team is more important to him than an extra million or two. New England makes the most sense. I think he would do well in Indy too, but they are good with Addai and Brown. Not sure he would be an upgrade at this point in his career.

Pittsburgh? RBBC with Mendenhall? :hmmm:

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Tomlinson is a Fins uniform. Thing is, the Fins' RB situation is so up in the air after this year and Tomlinson is so obviously declining, I don't know if it would add any stability.

What's the latest on Brown? Plus, Ricky will be back right?

Brown's sixth year has been optioned, so he's back. Ricky's back, but this is probably his last year. Cobbs is coming off a major injury, so there's no telling how he'll do, or even if he'll make the team. The Fins also have Lex Hilliard and Kory Sheets, who are intriguing in their own right. But after this upcoming season, who knows?

I was kind of surprised that SF let Sheets go. He had an excellent preseason and thought he would make the team. Pretty explosive player, which they lack.

:headscratch: They have Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch. How many backs does a team need?

I have heard they are trying to deal Lynch...then I could understand....but I think if they want a power back to give Jackson a blow...they could get McGahee back cheaper.

He'd be a decent complimentary back to AP. Plus, the Vikes are a playoff contender. He wants to play in the post-season, I'm sure.

.....and he is emphasizing the fact that he wants to mentor a young guy. This makes lots of sense for him and the Vikes and it's not like they are losing big time on the swap. (losing Taylor)

that would be a nice pick up for the vikes. but is he willing to take a pay cut and a back up role?

The Vikes could pay him pretty much what he's worth now. He could come in for a year or 2 (maybe 3) and get some carries and catches. He could possibly win a ring in Minnesota.

Hed need to know Favre was going to be there to take a shot at it, and then Id see him doing a one year deal. Without Favre there is no chance of a Minnesota title.
