Good news for Titans fans as CJ will now be with the Titans through 2016. $30 mil guaranteed and a contract worth $53 mil over 4 years. I'm impressed that CJ settled for significantly less than Fitz. The Titans get him cheaper than he could've demanded and he gets good insurance against injury vs. the $800K he was scheduled to make. CJ owners in the fantasy world may now sleep a little easier.

4 yr deal turns into a 3 yr deal with him either wanting more or TN releasing/trading him cause hes beat up and injury prone. No way he can last 3-4 yrs carrying the ball that many times a season. Whats it something like 25/26 times a game. On the up side, glad to see they got a deal done before season starts. And right after their last preseason game. Maybe he was pulling a Favre and just not wanting to play the preseason.
