JaMarcus Russell (Moron)

"Its An Outrage"
I seen the news conference with Russell, the question was asked if he is looking over his shoulder at being replaced.

"They know i'm there guy"

7-24 109yrds no TD's (today)

Season: 19-54, 317yds 1td, 2 int, Comp%-35.2, Passer Rating-46.6

I would be plenty worried if i were him with stats like these.

Good thing Al Davis has the last say. :xpissed:

Oakland would be better off keep Jeff Garcia. At least then the offense wouldn't be on the field for show.

I don't blame him. If you're gonna sit the bench, pray for a warm climate instead of a below freezing one.

Nice. I leave Cali and already have a mental block that they are also called the "Bay Area". Sorry about that.

Maybe he just wants Vick's autograph. LOL I wasn't a fan of Garcia until I lost him and have begun enduring the Lefty Era. I hope he can find a home there and be happy.

Crappy stats like that and they still beat KC. Damn KC must really suck this year. Maybe Detroit can play KC and maybe get that first win in.......how many games since Detroit tasted victory ? 18 games at least i know of. LOL

And I wasn't even thinking about him leaving Tampa when I made reference to the "bay area". Wasn't a fan of his when he was in Cleveland either. We're going to have to specify the "bay area" in discussion to avoid further confusion. :)

Bruce Gradkowski or Charlie Frye. Bruce I think, hard to tell, the talent dropoff is so great it is like looking down a well.

7/24 109 yds is how the game turned out. If the other QBs had been in there

Under Gradkowski: 10/20 120 yds 3 INTs
Under Frye: 6/20 80 yds 2 INTs

Whether you stick your private part in a pickle slicer, a meat grinder, or a cheese grater...all the outcomes are bad.

I really don't have a problem with Russell's comment. Oakland put the Garcia talk to rest by sending him packing, basically telling Russell that this is his team (at least as long as this season doesn't crumble on this real quickly)

Stats aren't good, but the only way to improve them is to commit to him and keep him on the field. Otherwise, how do you know if he can show actual improvement? Bottom line, team is 1-1, and with better officiating is likely 2-0 (I feel the same about Buffalo, but anyway..... ;))

Jarmarcus has quite a bit to fight through this season. Not only does he have to show consistent improvement, he has to put up with media guys who want him replaced on a weekly basis. Going to be tough to succeed.

I wouldn't put too much into how he comes across in interviews though, some people don't word things in the best of ways.
