This is so very tragic. My prayers surround his family and friends.
Note: Today, asthma is thought to be controlable, but it always isn't. It takes just one tragic event to remind us. Should I realize that I have left home without my rescue inhaler, I turn around and go back to get it. The rescue inhaler might not stop an event, but hopefully it will sustain one until they reach an ER. The unfortunate thing about asthma is that a person might not even know they are predisposed, until that first and only attack. In adolescents, their first ever onset is so often associated with sports participation.
