Remember, this is based on re-draft leagues and non ppr scoring.

Today's Match-up:
Brent Celek vs Jermichael Finley

Last Year's Stats:
Brent Celek - 16 gms - 76 rec - 971 rec yds - 8 TD's
Jermichael Finley - 13 gms - 55 rec - 676 ru yds - 5 TD's

Today's match-up is between two young TE's coming off of breakout seasons. Both are now looking to prove they are amoung the leagues elite TE's. So which one is worth the pick? That is the question in today's close call!

It's all gut, but I say Finley. I also say that Celek does not take a step backwards at all. Finley is my #1 TE this season, and the work at the Fitz camp is just the icing!

Celek, and it will probably be a 30 point PPR difference. Kolb will use the heck out of this guy this year. Rodgers is seasoned enough to spread it around more.

I may have just voted wrong but I say Finley also.

Big things gonna happen in the GB passing game and Finley will be in the middle of it.

Celek, he will be the main crutch for Kolb...until McCoy is full boat. Still I say Celek

I have these two back to back in my rankings. I lean slightly to Celek due to Kolb still needing a security blanket. Both have bright careers but I don't think Finley will jump as much as some think this year.....now I could be swayed if he looks great in preseason.....but for now the pick is Celek.

Finley. He came on strong at the end of last season and I look for Rodgers to look for him more in the red zone.

I went Celek. He's Kolb's favorite target, and although he has plenty of other ones, they're far more deep threats than Brent. I see a lot of Celek at 8-15 yards, and thus more catches than Finley. Rodgers spreads the ball more and he has receivers everywhere, all running underneath routes in far higher repetition than found in Philly.

Finley was held back from fully developing a niche in the offense last year due to injury. In addition to the games he outright missed he played in several at much less than 100%.

Given a chance to become an intregral part of the offense combined with the likely decline in Donald Driver's production I think Finley can be a top 5 TE this year.

There are more questions for Celek and the Philly offense with all the new young components. He may suffer from the initial learning curve that will be inevitable with Kolb and McCoy.

I vote Finley.

I like Finley I really do but I think he's getting too much love. GB still has a lot of weapons to include Rodgers rushing in for a few TDs. I think Driver's demise is premature as he is a gamer. Celek is a beast in his own right and is one of the few big redzone targets Philly has.

This is the odd dilema that is Andy Reid. He flings the rock all over and around the field, but once he gets inside the 5, he hasn't had a guy who could punch it in lately. Try the pass Andy....that's how you got there. Manning and Favre have it down to an art.

This post has swayed my opinion. Finley is more talented, but Celek got a ton of redzone looks last year and I don't think that will change this year.

Kolb and Celek, will look like Romo and Witten. They are already a head of the curve in the passing game.
