FA Signing: Chargers snatch WR Eddie Royal from the Broncos

Rivers, Mathews, gates, Floyd. Are still championship level. Vjax departure hurts the long passing game but royal is an outstanding possession receiver and meachum has a chance to be that speed threat. The oline remains intact which means stronger. The defensive addition of Johnson should not be overlooked as he is solid against both the run and pass rush and coverage. They still need pieces but in that division they are still contenders. Imo

Thx, and I agree they can contend in their division
, but they are weaker than ever, and don't stand a chance out of it. VJax is much better than meachem. IMO
 
Loss of VJax hurts. By all reports though, Tolbert may be back. If so, and Gates is healthy, they will be fine. They have played well while VJax held out and was hurt in the past.

The division isn't the strongest either. However, that could change if Manning falls to Denver.
