Are you moving James White up on your draft boards?

Edelman is out for the year and he's been the guy for short passes from Brady for a decade. Pundits seem to see White and Dwayne Allen as the main beneficiaries of those additional targets. Heck whit was 3rd last year among RB targets. It might scare you a bit if you look at the results to Brady and the team record when they play without Edelman in the past. Tom must find a go to guy to grab those passes or he isn't going to be as terrific as I expected this year.

So are you bumping him up and if so how much? If not then why the hell not?

Who is this "Bennett" that you speak of?

I don't think even Tom Terrific can throw it all the way to Wisconsin. :p

Who the heck knows what Bellycheck is going to do. Lewis may be the main beneficiary but looks like Hogan did ok after Julie left. Bet he stays pat on his receiving corp and then waits to see what is available after final cuts. But then again ...??

Oh, James White value remains basically the same.

Hogans slot efficiency for all the remaining WRs is the best.

That doesn't mean that players like White, Dion, or Burkhead don't take some snaps there.

No, this will not help White.

His issue is he has been beaten out by Gillessee and Burkhead. They love Burkhead he can line up as WR or slot Wr or Rb, even full back.

Add in the loss of Edelmen now makes Hogan the underneath guy, while Cooks goes deep.

I LOVE Hogan this year now.

Rex Burkhead played 10-of-81 offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Chiefs.

Burkhead got the start for the Patriots, playing the opening two snaps before being replaced on third down by James White, and it was all White (43 snaps) and Mike Gillislee (24) the rest of the way. Behind those three, Dion Lewis was in the game for six plays. Gillislee delivered three goal-line touchdowns, pretty much confirming he's this year's version of LeGarrette Blount for the Patriots. That could change any moment, but Burkhead isn't a viable start for Week 2.
