WOW, talk about the power of the NFL!

Lakers @ Cavs - 3:30 on ABC - 3.8 million viewers
NFL Pro Bowl - 4:30 on NBC - 4.5 million viewers

Guess someone is still watching the Pro Bowl.

Well, even with Kobe and Lebron playing, I find it hard to watch a full game of basketball. Most games have very few climatic points and the opportunities to score in each game is so easy each possession becomes quite insignificant. Football on the other hand has it made as a league due to the scarcity of the games in a season. 16 nfl - 82 nbA - 162 mlb - 80+ hockey. But, with that said, I found the chatter leading up to the pro bowl far more interesting and totally forgot about the game on sunday.

I surfed right by it and stuck for a few minutes and then went on by.

The Pro Bowl is probably a Super Bowl leftovers party party for some. If you throw a big Super Bowl party you probably had leftovers. Those extra bags of chips in case extra people show up and usually less do. The still unfinished keg, despite your best weekday efforts to drain it, costing you a couple of bags of ice daily. Extra packs of hot dogs, ketchup, mustard etc. Get some new dips and fire up the grill, hey, why don't you all come over for the Pro Bowl this weekend.
