An MRI on Peterson's injured right ankle showed only a sprain, ESPN 1500 am Twin Cities reports. It sounds like any structural damage has been ruled out and it doesn't sound like a high-ankle sprain.
 
Coach said today that he's not sure whether AP will be able to go this week or not. Of course we know how much faith to put into what the coaches say.
 
I highly doubt they will play him this week. And if so, I don't see him being anywhere near 100%. But I am praying!!
 
I'm okay with him taking the week off, or even 2....they're done, and he is the franchise going forward, let the rook get some reps, rest it up, and come back at 100%......

I have to agree here. Minny is out of the playoff shot. Or should be, why risk your franchise Rb? Just does not make sense.

With this being the case, how does Gerhart look for the playoff run? I have Peterson starting for me and am 10-2 with the first place spot in hand. I will have next week off... should we expect Peterson back week 15?
