Matt Maiocco, of The Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers WR Isaac Bruce has been working as the starter at the Z receiver position, while WR Josh Morgan has been working as the starter at the X receiver position. Maiocco says Bruce has taken part in every practice and appears to be enjoying himself during training camp.

Meanwhile, most of us are patiently waiting for an order of Crab.

Even if he shows up to camp he becomes the Holt to Bruce IMO.

What makes me wonder..... how will Singletary handle his prima donna attitude.

With diplomacy and finesse..............

Actually, more likely a shot to the melon...............

I think eveyone is waiting on Crab. I hate to say it, but they may already have their young stud in Morgan. He got hurt last year, but they were gushing over him last year. Crab's hold out gives Morgan the edge he needs. They drafted Crab to play, but if Morgan does well, Crab may be the WR3 until he unseats Bruce.

The Morgan hype is starting to kick in again.....Morgan could be a very nice number 2 in this league at best IMO, he does not have the skill set to be a Stud #1 go to guy. This offense needs Crab long term to be that guy.

Make the 2nd year guy out to look like the 2nd coming and the rookie holdout will get nervous....That's my take.

As far as Singletary goes, I don't think he cares if he has Josh Morgan or Harry Morgan.....He's gonna make a player out of them.

Went on and took Bruce as a WR5 in a league. I can stand 50 catches 600 yards and 5 scores out of that position.
