I saw draft grades on nfl.com and all but maybe 5 teams got an A. Its like participation ribbons were being handed out.
Yeah, I can't believe Giants are skating on their panic pick. No way was anyone taking Jones prior to 17. Washington basically blasted to all they wanted Haskins, and Miami never really wanted Jones to begin with. Great snookering job by them. Even Denver has stated Lock was their target, and were shocked they got him so late.

Couple of quick updates.....
Steelers have moved Lb Ryan Shazier to PUP list - don't expect him to play again....
Seattle is expecting Doug Baldwin to retire - had 3 surgeries off season, and he is even saying he is close to calling it quits, but if he retires now, he loses $2 Million back to team in signing bonus. So look for him to wait and have the team release him.

NFL said to be considering placing Tyreek on the exempt list as soon as this week.

Always amazing to see someone who has this kind of opportunity totally F it up by being a total POS.

Is it the fact that they are enabled most of their lives because they are elite athletes and think they can do anything they want without repercussions? Probably goes deeper than that, but man, such a waste of god given talent.

So now for all the bragging.....after the draft:
Redskins are crowing on their first round haul - they had Sweat at the top of their board after Haskins - and got both by trading back in to get Sweat later - goodie for them :D
Seattle knew they needed to protect for Baldwin retiring, and wanted to add more speed to wrs, so that is why they drafted as they did
Rumors are flying that Cleveland is working to get DT Gerald McCoy from Tampa Bay.
So Atlanta opened a new stadium last year, and have had PSL's defaulted so far at a rate of $30 Million dollars - Yikes... But they still won't sell single game tickets, and are still selling PSLs to new customers.
Patriots trade TE Jacob Hollister to Seattle for a conditional 7th round 2020 pick
Eagles have exercised Qb Carson Wentz's 5th year option
Joe Theismann former Qb of washington is thinking about unretiring his number and letting rookie Qb Haskins wear it

Jamaal Charles is retiring after 11 seasons in the NFL. He will sign a 1 day contract with the Chiefs so as to retire as a Chief. Nice career come to an end.
Nice to see the chiefs recognize him and let him retire as a chief. Alot of this going around right now.

IMO, Raiders totally crapped the bed with their 3 first rounders.

Not that they didn't get 3 good players, but their haul could have been way better.

-Mayock admitted they wanted to trade out of 4 because they thought Ferrell would drop, but "nobody called". Geezzzzz, you do realize that telephones make outgoing calls as well? They could have traded to the 10 range and probably got him as well as picking up some nice picks. OR taken Josh Allen, whom I think is going to be the better player.

-Reports are they really wanted Sweat at 27. Geezzzzzz, maybe you should have taken him at 24 while he was on the board instead of Jacobs, who safely would have been there at 27, since NOBODY else was looking RB in the first round.

-Abrams is a good player, but he is a box safety. Could have gotten him or someone as good with their 2.3 pick.

Their haul could have been Allen, Sweat, Jacobs (if they love him that much) and Abrams or Ferrell, Sweat, Jacobs, Abrams and another 2nd rounder had they traded down from 4 by picking up the phone and making some calls themselves.

Ravens are talking really utilizing former Penn State Qb Trace McSorely - similar to how N.O. uses Taysom Hill, talking about maybe using him on defense as well.....Yikes
Packers have exercised 5th year option on Kenny Clark

Matt Ryan is thrilled the Falcons went with two first round OL - he was sacked over 70 times last year....
the Tyreek Hill situation just got weirder. Quoted below - the Mother had lost custody of the child, and the first issue that police and help were called for was not due to Hill, but instead due to the mother being passed out and the child not be attended to. This poor kid has no hope here..... :(
Per PFT:
On Tuesday night, KCTV reported on an April 1 call for medical help for Crystal Espinal, which came at a time when Hill was living in a hotel, due to a then-pending no-contact order with his three-year-old son.

Hill reportedly made the call, but the authorities did not make a copy of the call available to KCTV, due to the pending criminal investigation regarding allegations of child abuse involving Hill’s and Espinal’s son.

According to KCTV: “That same week, Hill went to court alone . . . because Espinal was in the hospital and could not make it to court. At that hearing, Espinal lost custody. Less than two weeks later, both parents went to court holding hands. But, a judge did not grant either of them custody.”

Apparently, Hill called the authorities because Espinal was passed out while watching their son, and the boy was “walking around with no one attending him.” Hill apparently noticed the situation via remote access to cameras in the residence.
