Jay Glazer reports the Texans and Seahawks have agreed to trade parameters that will send Jadeveon Clowney to Seattle.

Multiple players are said to be involved but details aren't out yet. Expect them soon though before this afternoon's deadline.

• The Houston Chronicle, which has been all over the story, reports the Seahawks are sending a third-round pick and "two players" the Texans' way. The Texans had been expected to acquire an offensive lineman or two, but The Athletic reports both players are linebackers. It's a massive admission of defeat from the Texans after they had been zeroed in on Dolphins LT Laremy Tunsil. As for the Seahawks, it's a coup for a defensive line that desperately needed one.

Texans acquired LB Barkevious Mingo from the Seahawks in exchange for DE Jadeveon Clowney.
Mingo is coming over along with fellow LB Jake Martin and a third-round pick. Needless to say, it's not much of a haul for the desperate Texans. Going on 29, Mingo is coming off his best season as a pro, but that's not saying much. The former No. 6 overall pick still offers absolutely nothing as a pass rusher. His main attribute as a player is taking up snaps.

Mingo was great at LSU and has been injured or sucked since.

He was the one that showed up out of the blue, due to injury to Bartlett, and should have stayed in school at least one more year as a starter but went draft instead.
