Kittle is day to day but coach is hopeful for Sunday.

Emmanuel Sanders is day to day and a likely GTD.

The NFL has arranged a private workout for free agent Colin Kaepernick that will take place Saturday in Atlanta.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the workout will include "on-field work and an interview." NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports "several clubs inquired as to Kaepernick’s football readiness," and that "both him and his reps have frequently expressed his desire for him to return to the league." Perhaps this was part of Kaepernick's winter settlement with the league. With many teams tanking and others dealing with injury situations, the bottom third of NFL quarterback play has been particularly poor this year. Kaepernick, who hasn't played a down of football since 2016, turned 32 nine days ago.

Speaking Tuesday, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Dante Pettis will continue to see fewer opportunities.

"The more he doesn't take advantage of his opportunities, the less opportunities he gets," was Shanahan's blunt assessment after another Pettis dud against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Even with Emmanuel Sanders lost early to a ribs injury, Pettis was held without a catch on a modest three targets. This was as Kendrick Bourne looked like a minor leaguer but continued to be fed looks. A bitter 2019 fantasy disappointment, the time to drop Petts was two weeks ago.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Saints LG Andrus Peat (arm) is expected to miss six weeks.

Peat broke his arm in Sunday's loss to the Falcons and underwent surgery Wednesday. A Pro Bowl selection in '18, the former first-rounder had started all nine games for the Saints this year, soaking up every snap on offense until he was forced from Sunday's contest. Barring an unforeseen acquisition, Will Clapp is expected to start in the interim until Peat returns at the end of the season.

It seems that close to half of the "skill positions" in the NFL were limited or did not practice today. Too many to list. Stay tuned for more...

ESPN's Adam Schefter said that he's "skeptical" that Colin Kaepernick will workout this weekend in Georgia.

Schefter previously stated that the workout will include "on-field work and an interview." NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported "several clubs inquired as to Kaepernick’s football readiness," and that "both him and his reps have frequently expressed his desire for him to return to the league."

So am I. Guy wasn't worth starting his last few years in the league and now he's been away for 2-3 years? Anyone that thinks Kap can come save their team is in for a rude awakening. Dude was done 5 years ago IMO.

I really hope he gets a shot. Id love an end to this stupid story.

It would bring a smile to my face to see him get picked up, plugged in, & absolutely crushed.

I too would want him to work out, and then when he sucks and no one signs him, he no longer has any legal stand

It just pisses me off that this loser stood for nothing (by kneeling) until after he lost his starting job. Then.....all of the sudden........it struck him that someone needed to take up this cause and stand against cops killing black people. I have no problem with the cause just the fact that while he was relevant, and a starter, it was crickets out of him. He was simply looking for a stage since he failed as the SF qb.
