AFC West: Has San Diego already clinched?

Wow. Talk about some bad football.

We realistically could be looking at 3 of the worst defenses in football all in one division.

We could be looking at two 4-12 teams and a 3-13 team behind San Diego, who should have no problems winning 12 games.

Is it really this bad? Can anyone surprise us and go 8-8?

Ahhhhh.....let me think here.......

......still thinking........

.......smoke starts to bellow.........

........IMHO......nope

I've been thinking about this lately due to the "Who Will Go Winless This Year" thread. Chiefs, Raiders and Broncos were never mentioned in that thread, I assume because they play each other twice.

If I had to pick one of those teams to go 8-8, it'd have to be the Chiefs :homer:

Of the 3, they are the only team not engulfed in insane political football non-sense.

They're young, dumb and full of hope. Unless someone tells them they REALLY SUCK they might just win a few games because no one told them they couldn't.

Solid assessment.

Other than the Dwayne Bowe motivational demotion, you really havent heard that much from them.

Agreed....

I think they way theyve looked so far I could beat the Raiders with my chihuahua and a #2 Uno card.

By double digits.

On the road.

You just filled this young and dumb Chiefs fan full of hope too!

After spotting them a 20 point lead.....

and after signing Anderson Silva to a coaches contract so Tom Cable has some competition in the UFC Pre Practice Division.

Although all football wisdom does support your assessment you do remember that the almighty San Diego did go 8-8 last year. Only an utter collapse by Denver gave them the division.

That was Cutlers Denver brother. This is McDaniels dysfunctional Denver. SD will go 6-0 against this motley crew and at least 5-5 if not better vs the rest of the schedule.

I have to agree with you Sarge. There can't be a more lopsided division in football this year. Hail even Notre Dame would have a sporting chance agaist dim Raiders. Tho after some reflection I'd still pick Oakland in that contest, even if Blander was still playing.

I will throw in my chihuahua "Oscar" and we can take the Raiders out of the equation for the next 5 years

Denver i think has the best chance at winning 8 games. KC, not convinced about Cassell, (KC is not NE), i think will win 6 and the Raiders 4 tops. Its a good thing they play each other twice or all of the win totals would drop drastically.
