Texans ILB Brian Cushing (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Bengals.

Texans TE Stephen Anderson (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Bengals.

The Texans are down to Evan Baylis at tight end for Thursday night's game. Who is the rookie going to throw to other than Hopkins? It's going to be Miller Time.

Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

He was a late addition to the injury report. Howard looked healthy in Week 1, though fourth-round rookie Tarik Cohen out-gained him by 47 yards. Drafted as a consensus second-round pick in fantasy leagues this summer, Cohen's involvement could downgrade Howard to an RB2 going forward.

I'm sure that if they sign him he will be in fast.

Gary Barnidge: Will work out for Houston
I have to wonder if there is something physically wrong with Barnidge. He has been to multiple teams, but no one signs him. As weak as some teams are at TE, it doesn't make any sense.

Odell Beckham (ankle) is practicing on Thursday.

(1 hr ago) Beckham (ankle) rejoined the Giants for practice Wednesday, taking part in individual drills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
It sounds like Beckham won't be participating fully in the Giants' first official practice of the week, but his presence on the field adds further credence to the notion that he'll be able to dress for the Monday night showdown with the Lions.

Speaking to reporters following Thursday's return to limited practice, Odell Beckham (ankle) said he was dealing with a 6-8 week injury.

Beckham has been recovering for just 24 days. That would suggest he's more doubtful than questionable to return this week, but the other reports have been positive. Dreadfully for fantasy owners, Beckham is yet again playing in primetime, this time on Monday Night Football. If we don't have clarity on his status by Sunday morning, hard decisions are going to have to be made.

Danny Amendola (concussion, knee) is out for Week 2 against the Saints.

The Chicago Tribune's Rich Campbell expects Jordan Howard (questionable, shoulder) to play in Week 2 at Tampa Bay.

However, Campbell left open the possibility Howard could see limited snaps by saying it was "fair" to expect a downtick in playing time after Howard did very little in practice all week. It's not inconceivable rookie Tarik Cohen winds up leading the Bears' backfield in snaps after leading them in Week 1 targets.
