Who needs to go in Washington?

I don't think McNabb is done yet...but he isn't what he used to be. I think the Shannys are dealing with this the completely wrong way. Although McNabb isn't what he used to be...he gives WAS a wayyy better shot to win than Rex Grossman even comes close to providing. I think they should have given McNabb a 3 year deal and then drafted a QB.
 
McNabb has been spoon fed his entire career. How many receivers has been through that system (Philly) in efforts to give him quality targets? How much credit to the Eagles offense in the past should have been given go Westbrook rather than McNabb? Shanahan isn't going to coddle a QB or any player, especially a QB with a rating in the 70's.

McNabb has never been dependable as a 16 game starter. McNabb has always depended on his mobility, and is now at an age where that tool is disappearing.
 
The skills arent what they used to be, but they are still better than what Carolina, Arizona, Minnesota, Seattle, Oakland, and San Francisco have under center (San Fran on weeks they start Atrocious Alex)
 
i agree the skills are declining, but clearly he did a helluva job tutoring vick and kolb last year. he'd be a good mentor to a young'un
 
Yeah that he did.

Obviously Favre tutored Jackson into throwing picks. Maybe McNabb could teach Joe Webb the ins and outs of QB.

If any of the teams Sgt mentioned could get Kolb away from Philly, they'd be much better teams.
