If I was LSU I'd dam sure stop running the option play with Jefferson at QB. They don't seem to have a clue about spacing and pitching the ball.

Spot on assessment there. I think he is a QB where a zone read offense ala Vince Young might work for now. Something simple where he has multiple options.

But when Jefferson developes the touch on the long ball or if he does this year the Tigers should roar.

That part wouldnt really be affected. Just gives him more options to learn on the job.

Moving on, I think Oklahoma should explore more options with Murray and Brown. They have got to figure out a way to get them involved in the downfield passing game more. At 3-3 the season is over for them, but they can still finish up with 10 wins.

It's a sign of a great program when a potential 10 win season is truely considered a loss.
