WESTern Perspective: Week 13, Thursday Night Game

A quick look at Thursday's game between the Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles reveals a jackpot for fantasy football owners.

The basic rule of thumb with this game is, if you've got 'em, plug them in! This game will host 10% of the top 50 receivers in the league (YTD) and two running backs who have combined for 1,926 yards on the ground and who are both averaging more than 5 yards per carry.

Jacoby Jones, perhaps the games' only question mark, needs to be plugged into your starting lineup as he will likely square off against Joselio Hanson as Asante Samuel is listed as questionable with a knee injury. Hanson, who started last week's game in place of Samuel, didn't record a single tackle against the Bears. While Jones is not the league's greatest receivers, no Owen Daniels and a questionable Kevin Walter, should see him get his fair share of looks.

So there you go, look for a lot of fantasy points to come out of tonight's shootout!

I'll have the rest of Week 13 broken down later this week and posted on the front page. Good luck!
