Waiver WR (drop Evans for Austin or Maclin?)

Bakes

I have the choice of Miles Austin and Jeremy Maclin right now on the waiver wire.

Which one has the better value for the remainder of the season?

Austin had a sexy Sunday against the Chefs, but I'm not so sure that he's the better long term wideout than Maclin. (I'm not concerned about the DAL bye week 6).

I'm not even sure that both are better options than Donnie Avery given the # of looks he could get with a team that is going to be in throwing situations all season.

If anything, I could use one of them as trade sweetener.

Current WR: Boldin, V. Jackson, Sims-Walker, Finley, and Evans (who I'd be dropping).

As of now, I actually am leaning towards Maclin. I'd love to hear some thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I think Austin had his day in the sun for the season. I'd go for Maclin, seems to be a better option.

Appreciate the replies. I got a tip that no one was on Maclin, so I waited until after the deadline and picked him up without sacrificing my 1st overall waiver wire position.

(Our wire is not based on record but rather how recently you burned a FA move during the Tues-Thurs 5PM window.)

That was a smooth move on your part
