In a 12 team 9 keeper .5PPR league. We have to start 2RB/3WR/1TE and a flex. My keepers as of now are:

M Ryan
CJ Spiller
Donald Brown
Trent Richardson
Cobb
Crabtree
Shorts
Graham
Julius Thomas

I also have the 1.3/1.6/1.9 picks and the 3rd pick in every round thereafter.

An owner wants to trade me Lynch. I would get Lynch and the 3.9 I would give Graham and the 1.06. Is this a deal I should make? Should I do the deal with me giving the 1.9 instead?

The picks will probably be spend on rookies unless someone drops something crazy....

TIA

You could sure use a top 5 RB Mutt but a couple of things would keep me from pulling the trigger here. One is that Lynch is getting old for a RB and had over 400 touches last year which either isn't good and both could be bad, Second Graham is the absolute biggest difference maker at his position in the entire NFL and he's young at a position that you can play well past 30 at a highly competitive rate. No other player at any position was so far out in front of his competition. Believe it or not the kid is still learning (5 total years of playing football is it for him and he was on the bench for two) how to play football and this off season he'll work on getting off the line of scrimmage with a man in his face. Man if he can master that the sky is the limit for him.

Now I notice you also have Orange Julius. Hmmm, I'd try to turn the Denver TE instead but I still don't trade away Graham for Lynch and I own them both in my keeper league.

I agree with Mud. Lynch is tough to not take, but then again in a 0.5 PPR, Graham is money for you and that won't change this year. See if he would take Julius instead. If not, then don't bump him the first rounder. Offer a lower pick.

I agree with these guys.

Lynch is a short term payoff with downside. Read the Christine Michael <sp> thread and lock him in now on the cheap.

No way I make that deal mutts. Stick Julius in there for Graham and it's about right imo.

It's early in the off-season but some of the dynasty start up mocks I've been following have Graham at the first turn and Lynch mid to late second. These are ppr mocks and obviously don't take roster situation into consideration but it's an indicator that an RB-need team should probably consider the two equal. For what it's worth Julius is a mid-5th trending upward towards the 4th round.
