New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said in an interview Wednesday that his rehabilitation from season-ending knee surgery was "going really well," but he did not offer any timetable for a return to the football field.

Any injury that requires additional procedures to correct is not going to be one that is recovered from quickly. His rehab will likely take him well into next season at the very earliest, and possibly through the end of 2010. I do not look for him to begin sports-related activities for at least 10 months.
