Lions coach Jim Schwartz announced that news today. No word yet on why.

It was being an idiot. Young causing a scene on the sideline in Sunday's loss and he's caused problems before this season so the team is giving him some time off to think about life. They'll re-evaluate his situation later. That Boyce fella is going to get extra targets this week.
