Reggie Bush to the Dolphins?

According to Jay Glazer's Twitter account, the Saints and the Dolphins have worked out the terms of a trade for Reggie Bush. Bush has to restructure his contract for Miami to accept. There's also a chance (but a small one, I'd bet) that Bush could accept a reduced salary and stay with the Saints. No further action will happen until tomorrow morning.

If this does come to pass, its a hell of a deal for the Dolphins. Bush is more athletic to work the slot with Marshall and Bess than Brian Hartline, and he can do some good things out of the backfield while Thomas continues to learn the game. This also would allow them to bring along speedster Edmund Gates a bit slower.

Id like to see what the Saints are getting back in return.

This would be a very nice move for Miami

The nice thing about this acquisition is that the Fins now have two backs that you can split out wide. Bess can go back to the slot with Marshall flanking him and Gates on the opposite side to blow the top off defenses. At this point Hartline is an afterthought.
