  • Henry will continue to be evaluated. Although the team has yet to announce a timetable, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it's likely a 4-6 week absence. It's a brutal loss for the Chargers as the promising 24-year-old missed the entire 2018 regular season while recovering from a torn ACL. This only adds to Los Angeles' heartbreaking absences as the team's already missing S Derwin James (foot) for the year. While they worked out Luke Willson recently, it's certainly a possibility the Chargers also bring back veteran free agent Antonio Gates soon.

  • Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said the team is "hopeful" to get Hunter Henry (knee) back this season.
 What happened to those 4-6 weeks?

UGH!!!

  • ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that RB Derrius Guice is expected to be sidelined six-to-eight weeks in the likely event that he undergoes surgery to repair his torn meniscus.
Guice is in Florida today to meet with Dr. James Andrews and get a second opinion on his torn meniscus. Schefter noted that, "In the likely event that Guice decides to undergo surgery, he would be expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks." This is a longer timeline than initially thought, as Guice stated he was expected to miss a "few weeks." The Redskins will move forward with Adrian Peterson as their early-down grinder with Chris Thompson taking the majority of snaps on pass downs and in two-minute situations.

Both knees now, not a good start to a pro Rb career. This was the non-surgically helped knee from last year.

  • Coach Adam Gase confirmed that Sam Darnold (mono) won't suit up for the Jets' Monday night matchup against the Browns.
Gase added that Darnold could miss several weeks. The Jets will move forward with Trevor Siemian under center. It's far from an ideal offensive situation, particularly with Le'Veon Bell (sore shoulder) also banged up. Robby Anderson figures to be the biggest loser from Darnold's absence, as Siemian has made a habit of checking down throughout his career.

Range for return are 4-6 weeks and in some cases 6-8 weeks. My guess is they will put him on IR and designate him for early return.

  • Le'Veon Bell's (shoulder) MRI revealed "no major damage or tears."
Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the test was "mostly precautionary." Barring a setback, Bell will be out there for Monday Night Football against the Browns. A bigger Week 2 concern than Bell's health is his quarterback, as No. 2 Trevor Siemian could easily get overwhelmed by Gregg Williams' defense. At least than 100 percent and missing Sam Darnold, Bell will be a mid-rage/low-end RB1.

I guess Mark Ingram was a full participant in practice because Yahoo changed his status from questionable to healthy

Ravens' Mark Ingram: Practices without limitation

by RotoWire Staff
(10 mins ago) Ingram(shoulder) was a full practice participant Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Ingram played well into the second half of Sunday's 59-10 win over Miami, finishing with 14 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He was limited at Wednesday's practice but now appears fine for Baltimore's home opener Sunday against the Cardinals. Ingram will lose some work to Gus Edwards and Justice Hill, but there's no question the 29-year-old is the starter and the first option in a busy backfield.
