The trade deadline has past. There could still be trades that have not been announced but we know the Skins did not deal Trent Williams and the NYJ did not trade Jamal Adams nor WR Robby Anderson.

And apparently Trent Williams has returned to the facility for the Redskins and is ending his hold out immediately

NBC Sports Washington's JP Finlay reports Redskins LT Trent Williams has "no intention" of playing despite ending his holdout and reporting on Tuesday.

It would appear Williams only reported to avoid his contract tolling to 2020 and keeping him in Washington through 2021. The Redskins made the hardball move of refusing to trade Williams — which made truly zero sense — and he's ready to respond in kind. The Redskins can't get it through their head that this relationship is over. As for Williams, it's unclear what route he might take. Reportedly healthy, he would risk suspension and the subsequent tolling of his deal by refusing to play.

Brandin Cooks is visiting a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh. He's on a bye this week but keep an eye on this.

49ers RB Jeff Wilson "suffered a stinger" in Week 8's win over the Panthers.

It's uncertain if Wilson will be playing Week 9's game against the Cardinals on Thursday. The same can be said for Matt Breida (ankle) and Raheem Mostert (quad) since both backs were unable to practice on Tuesday. Tevin Coleman is obviously the No. 1 option, but the 49ers run game has been good enough for two backs to be fantasy assets. There's a chance Wilson will be Coleman's backup for Week 9 but that may come down to game-time decisions for all three injured backs.

Coleman could be golden as the only RB in town.

Another watch out, Brandin Cooks Wr LAR - is visiting a specialist for concussions. Rams are on a bye, but this is his 4th concussion since superbowl LII and 2nd in one month.

Wow, just wow. Miami gave up a 2020 7th round pick to Denver for Aqib Talib and a 2020 5ht round pick - this was just to take the salary and give Denver cap help.

Pretty sure this is a repeat of what Cleveland did a few years ago.

Per PFT and sources:
Cincinnati - Dalton is ticked, his agent tried to help facilitate a trade but nothing could be done in the short time they had. Most feel Andy is gone after this year, with only one year left on his current deal but no dead money.
Cincinnati - A.J. Green has reiterated he wants a long term deal to stay - and won't give discount - so I am betting team will tag him, since a long term deal will kill their cap.
Washington - Trent Williams has arrived at team facility for physical, but has stated he won't play this year - so he is there JUST to meet requirement to not have his deal toll over and lose FA next year. HOWEVER, you have to be on roster for 8 weeks per past rules - and if team uses roster exemption, he will have to fight to get his contract to roll over. Watch this one for fun....

Update on the Trent Williams issue, he did not pass his physical today which opens up a whole bunch of options for the Redskins.

He failed his physical due to helmet discomfort when he put it on. He had surgery this offseason to remove some type of growth from his head.
