Not exactly encouraging news.:sadbanana:

Not sounding good.Hoping there just trying to set up some drama befre the 12th hour. Sad to say but in the far far distance you can hear the fat lady warming up.

I have a better chance of hitting the lottery saturday night. At least i wont have to watch the Jags lose . Thats an upside to all this.

If the USFL was still around, i guarantee that they wouldnt be going thru with this. I really enjoyed watching the Jax Bulls here. Odd thing is, they were more exciting to watch than the Jags. Esp when they played the NJ Generals.

I think the owners really underestimated the players and felt like they could make them concede on alot of things for fear of a season being lost. It's like they totally disregarded the fact that the players brought in a tough lawyer to lead their union.

Did these guys really expect players to simply accept the idea of constantly traveling overseas for games, playing extra games, having salaries limited, and in return get almost nothing in return?

Ya never know until you try Mike. Now here's to hoping they see the unified front presented by the players and everyone gets their heads out of their asses and get this thing done.
