Kyle Shanahan said it’s “highly unlikely” Brock Purdy will start Sunday, which means it’s shaping up as a second straight start for Mac Jones.
49ers also are listing WR Jauan Jennings as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. Arizona due to his ankle injury.

Bears RB D’Andre Swift (questionable, hamstring) is expected to play Sunday vs. Cowboys
Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (ankle) and OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) both were ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jets, both players have a “strong chance” to make their season debuts next Sunday at home vs. the Eagles, per sources. Both Godwin and Wirfs are expected to start practice reps this week with the starters and, if all goes well and there are no setbacks, they are expected to play next Sunday.
