Smart play by the Vikings. McNabb has shown he can mentor guys, as most who have backed him up did very well.

Do you really see McNabb being a back-up to Ponder? I Don't.

McNabb is reaching the age where "scrambling" QBs finally learn how to be NFL QBs.

Nabbs will flourish in Minnesota with a fresh start.

I think McNabb still has something left in the tank. Minnesota is a good place for him.

Minn is a good landing spot for him. Ponder will be much better if he can learn under McNugget.

Ponder probably isn't ready to be a starter in the NFL, although he is very intelligent. He should listen to McNabb and ask him all the questions he needs.

No I dont, I think Ponder will spend a couple years learning the in's and outs.

This was pretty expected. They felt all along that Minny woudl get a Vet to start at least this year as Ponder learns. I agree, if they can keep Rice, McNabb could flourish again.
