McGahee to Broncos

(RotoWire) McGahee has agreed to a three-year deal with the Broncos, ESPN.com reports. Analysis: McGahee was released by the Ravens earlier this week. He should serve in a complementary/goal line role for the team.

NFL.com reports free-agent RB Willis McGahee is not yet a Denver Bronco. The team is bringing in some tailbacks this weekend to visit, and McGahee is expected to be among them.

Prolly cuz he's not DeWill and many feel he is even higher up the ladder in lead back skills. This was the lesser of two evils for many Moreno owners though I feel Willis is more apt to play all 16 weeks.
 
I just see McGahee as a 20 touch a game back in that offense. He sure could teach Moreno about the ins and outs of being a RB in the league.

How is this good for Moreno owners? McGahee will vulture all his TDs and quite possibly steal his job. Willis still has something left in the tank. He hasn't had a lot of wear and tear over the last few years.

If the Broncos brought in someone like Brandon Jackson, then that would be good news for Moreno owners...

Yeah...I guess so. Personally, I think DWill is dunzo. He's on the decline. Can't stay healthy and getting close to the dreaded 30 years of age. RBs start to decline fast as they approach the big 30. Although...he's been splitting carries for a few years...

Interesting, In Denver, they might have tried to run the wheels off of DWill and it may have only taken a year or two to do so. DWill might be able to eek out 3 or 4 years back in the Panthers RB rotation, probably better off there.

The Denver Broncos, who had a miscommunication in a deal with free-agent RB Willis McGahee (Ravens) earlier in the day Friday, July 29, could audition him and a handful of other running backs this weekend.
 
Let's all remember that Head Coach Fox LOVES to use a two RB system. I see a Moreno-McGahee timeshare similar to DWill and J Stewart.
