So the Redskins have the best defense agains the pass so far this year. I dont know about you but that does seem right. I have B. Marshall and was advise not to play him against the suffacating Redskins D. Something doesnt seem right. The Redskins are not that good or are they. I did some deep deep research (not really) on this subject. Heres what I found out.
Week 9 vs Falcons - Opp QB: Matt Ryan; Falcons up 24 - 3 at half. So the Falcons didnt need to throw the second half.
Week 7 vs Eagles - Opp QB: D. McNabb; Eagles up 17 - 0 in the 2nd Quarter and 27 - 10 in the 4th. Eagles never really had to throw much
Week 6 vs Chiefs - Opp QB: M. Cassel; Enough said.
Week 5 vs Panthers - Opp QB: J. Delhomme; Enough said
Week 4 vs Buc - Opp QB: J. Johnson; Enough said
Week 3 vs Lion - Opp QB: M. Stafford; Enough said
Week 2 vs Rams - Opp QB: M. Bulger; Really nothing to say
Week 1 vs Giants - Opp QB: E. Manning; Giants up 17 - 0 at one points. Ran the 31 times.
Any team with a decent Passing D would look amazing with this schedule. With this info would you play Marshall agains the Skins over B. Edwards, G. Jennings, K. Smith or L. Betts?
