per multiple reports owner Jerry Richardson has agreed to sell the team, and has ceded day to day control immediately.

This is all following multiple reports of work place misconduct that has been committed by Richardson, and one SI report has proof of cash settlements to hide some of those cases.

He was a popular owner, but he is gone.

Per PFT - day to day control has fallen to Tina Becker and she will be COO while sale is ongoing.


There is some speculation, that the reason he is pushing for sale of team, is to end the NFL investigation of the allegations.

P Diddy is supposedly jonesing to own this team....wouldn't that be a fun change in the NFL owners meetings

NFL also confirmed that regardless of sale, they are continuing their investigation....so look for some kind of punitive move against the team
