- News in LA Rams land must be getting close - Rams have restructured contracts of LT Andrew Whitworth and Wr Robert Woods to clear $7 million in cap space - looks like A. Donald deal is very close
- Cleveland seems to have locked on former LG Joe Bitonio as their new LT - he gets to run against Myles Garrett at practice so he should be pretty up to snuff
- in the feel good news category - K.J. Wright LB Sea will miss a few weeks due to injury - so that means Shaquem Griffin will start for seattle - Great to see!!
- So Browns have cut Lb Mychal Kendricks after charges of insider trading were filed - per report they knew about the issue.... - now a grievance may be filed?
- Reports are out that Oakland is seeking 2 first round picks for a trade for hold out DE/LB Khalil Mack
- With the Saints trade for Bridgewater - there seems to be some clarity on Qb situation - Bridgewater will be #2, Savage will be release(expected) and Taysom Hill will move back to special teams ace and be Qb #3 - okay that is a statement I never thought I would type....

Rams signed DT Aaron Donald to a six-year, $135 million extension through 2024.

At $22.5 million per year in new money, Donald is now the league's highest-paid defensive player.

Yeah, as soon as I saw those two contract reworks I knew this was pretty much done.

Good for the Rams, their defense will be very, very good this year.

Wonder if Oakland or Seattle finally blink on their hold outs now

Early reports are saying that the RAIDAHS are at least at minimum going to get 2 first round picks plus whatever else.

Cowboys TE Rico Gathers was arrested for marijuana possession Friday night in Frisco, Texas.

The arrest occurred around 10 PM local time. According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, Gathers has posted bond and is about to be released from jail. Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones implied earlier this week that Gathers was likely to make the team's 53-man roster but Friday's arrest may call that into question. Even if he survives final cuts, the former Baylor basketball player won't have any fantasy significance.

a cut many will not notice is LB John Timo from the Bears. He is a solid player that can help most teams. Bears have too much depth at ILB so he was the odd man out. Will be a solid pickup for someone.

At least they haven't got Gruden making the calls and screwing the pooch at every turn as he appears to be doing.

Falk is awesome. The dude got the absolute crap beat out of him at Washington State on a week-to-week basis and still was a hell of a quarterback. I really hope he catches on somewhere.
