Brady AND Brees

I ended up with Brady and Brees on my roster, since I can only start one, im trying to decide on which to trade...

There are 2 teams in need of a qb upgrade so the players i could target are:

Mendenhall, R. Rice, AP, Mccoy, Benson.

Any suggestions?
 
ppr?

It's hard to imagine landing AP or Rice with a QB. Maybe not even McCoy, if its ppr.

So how does Mendy or Benson compare to what you already have?
 
Its not ppr. We do get 1 point bonus for a pass/run/catch of 40+ yards and 2 points for 50+

My team right now looks like this:

qb - brees, brady, stafford (getting rid of him soon)
rb - turner, charles, lynch, starks
wr - c. johnson, jennings, r. moss
te - v. davis
 
Well non-ppr should make Rice and McCoy more achievable.

My impulse would would be to sell Brady high after last night's performance.
Drew Brees goes through slumps but does seem to get it together late in the season. There are rumors of a knee injury, so you might want research that possibility before moving either.
 
If I could McCoy somehow for Brady, PPR or not, I would be all over that in a heartbeat!!! And that would also be if my backup was McCoy!!

I dont think your getting any of those RBs for a Brady, but I would target, in order:

AP - McCoy - Mendenhall - Rice

Benson is probably the only RB I would not trade for, I like your team better the way it is without trading Brady for Benson.
 
so looks like you might be right, teams are being stubborn in trading with me because im in first place and they dont want to make my team any better. I know you dont like benson, but I think the only move i could pull off is a benson and maclin/v. jackson for brady. Should i pursue that?

Have you been able to acquire a decent backup QB on the wire?

On the surface it might not be a bad deal for you - Maclin may even hit those distance bonuses. But since it is about RBs, Benson is questionable with a foot, so you have to consider that. AND after that nice matchup with the Bills he faces the Jets, Saints, Steelers, Browns, Chargers and Ravens.

It just doesn't sound like a promising return on investment.
 
yah, thats exactly what i was looking at. His playoff schedule isnt great...but my 3rd rb is lynch. He's been absolutely horrible. We have a waiver limit, and i have one left. Matt ryan and Freeman are both still available. So if i do make a trade, ill be able to get one of those 2 as a back up
 
I would play hard ball, flirt that Brady is available, but no way for Benson. If you dont get it, your team is still stacked. You dont need to be desperate.
