(nfl.com) The official team website for the Cardinals reports that RB Tim Hightower continues to run first-team during OTA workouts. He is currently ahead of Beanie Wells on the depth chart, although the website speculates it might not stay that way when training camp starts.
Analysis: We expect Wells to start with Hightower being used on passing downs, but both running backs will split time.

The article went on to say that they believed that Hightower had more value in PPR leagues.

I see Tim as a good flex player but I tried to run him as my RB2 last year and it didn't work out real well.

That's a good analysis, he was very useful in one league for me. Shula, 16 team, very flexy lineups, scored more than 1/2 the time so he was a nice flex but with smaller leagues he would be a rough starter. Nice bye week guy.

I am not saying Hightower and Addai are that great. Although Addai finished 9th in Shula last year and Hightower finished above Wells. Mine is more a precaution against biting into the other side of that hype apple, Brown and Wells, too hard.

Wells showed good running and instinct last year.

Brown never really got a chance. Addai just keeps on truckin. And until he falters, Brown will be sitting in the shadows.

(nfl.com)The Arizona Republic reports Tuesday that Cardinals RB Tim Hightower continues to run with the first team during OTA workouts, although Beanie Wells is also looking lean and fast. The paper reports that the Cardinals could continue rotating those two as they did in the second half of last season: Hightower as the starter with Wells getting the majority of carries.
