Round 1

1.01 The Warriors - Mark Ingram, RB, NO
1.02 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - A.J. Green, WR, CIN
A.J. Green is a special talent and a future stud, not much else needs to be said. The guy is a beast and joins an already young group of studs in Nicks, Bryant and Williams (TB)
1.03 Crescent City Cutthroats - Julio Jones, WR, ATL
I traded out of the #2 spot because I did not want to draft Mark Ingram since I already own PT. I thought I could get some value for his future expectations. I traded out of that pick in order to pick up a later 1st round pick and Ryan Grant. I used that pick and some others to trade into the 3rd pick once I evaluated my team and thought Julio Jones was the guy I wanted. I drafted him and intend for him to be a great 3rd WR in his first year and hopefully push into a 2nd WR role by season 2.
1.04 Bulldawg - Daniel Thomas, RB, MIA
My 1st pick was Daniel Thomas. In my opinion the best RB in the draft. My running back depth is suspect, so I wanted to add a RB with the potential to start right away. I think DT is the clear cut #1 RB in Miami, and I really hope he is able to contribute to my team straight away.
1.05 The Regulators - Mikel Leshoure, RB, DET
M.Leshoure is a great fit in Detroit and will pay immediate dividends on 3rd down, Leshoure is a one cut power RB and could get his chance to start if the often injured J.Best gets sidelined again due to injury.
1.06 Team Ramrod - Ryan Williams, RB, ARI
Going into this draft I was focusing on running backs. My WR, QB and TE positions are all set for a while. So I was looking at backs with my first three picks that have the talent to start this year and are in good situations to get a chance.
With the first pick I knew I would get either Julio Jones, Mukel Leshoure or Ryan Williams. I was hoping Leshoure would fall to me in order to back up Javhid Best, but I was happy with Williams or Jones so I didn’t try to trade up into the 1.05 pick. Arizona will probably get Kolb once the lockout is over. Beanie Wells really disappointed a lot of owners and I don’t think he has the talent to do much more than he already did. Hightower is a nice change of pace back. Ryan Williams has the skillset to take over for both Wells and Hightower and be a 3 down back.
1.07 ShawnP - Roy Helu, RB, WAS
1.08 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Cam Newton, QB, CAR
Going into this draft, I felt my biggest weakness was at QB. With that in mind, I wanted to come out of the draft with a QB that I felt could be a future stud. Newton is a risky pick with a definite bust factor attached to him but he has the ability to become a great. Only time will tell.
1.09 GoToLeep - Greg Little, WR, CLE
1.10 Bodeys Ballers - Jonathon Baldwin, WR, KC
1.11 Team Ramrod - Delone Carter, RB, IND
Carter had back to back 1000 yd rushing seasons at Syracuse and finished without a fumble. He is a downhill runner that showed great burst and ability. The Colts bolstered their offensive line early in the draft, then took Carter. Addai is brittle in his old age and is also a free agent. Donald Brown has been a huge disappointment in two seasons for Indy and he just can’t stay on the field. Hart and James are not the answer either. If Addai leaves via free agency, Carter can easily take over as the number 1 in Indy. I picked him with 1.10 because I didn’t think he would make it to me at 2.04. I also thought about DeMarco Murray with this pick, but I liked Carter’s situation much better.
1.12 Drooling Miscreants - DeMarco Murray, RB, DAL

Round 2

2.01 Drooling Miscreants - Shane Vereen, RB, NE
2.02 The Warriors - Christian Ponder, QB, MIN
2.03 Bodeys Ballers - Kendall Hunter, RB, SF
2.04 Team Ramrod - Alex Green, RB, GB
I had two players I was eyeing with this pick. Alex Green and Torrey Smith. I went with Green because my wide receiving core is set. Green is a big power back able to burst the run to the outside. Grant is coming off a very bad ankle injury and Starks is raw. I don’t see Green starting at all this season, but he has the skillset to become the leading power back in a high powered offense. I was comfortable taking Green over Smith because I had Smith and Pettis ranked neck and neck and I was confident one of them would fall to me at 3.02.
2.05 Superfluous Nipple - Jake Locker, QB, TEN
OTC at 1.08 and all the QBs were still on the board. The RBs I had been eying were all taken. I considered Baldwin here but WR was the deepest position and felt I could get another w/o too much of a drop-off later. So I traded back to 2.05 looking for a QB not named Newton.
At 2.05 Newton and Ponder were gone. I decided between Locker and Gabbert. I feel Locker he has a better chance to start before Gabbert does and like his scrambling/rushing ability a little better. Both QBs have a similar supporting cast in a good ground game, up and coming TEs (although Lewis is ahead of Cook) but TEN has a talented #1WR in Britt (if he doesn't go to jail). So in the end I decided on Locker.
2.06 ShawnP - Leonard Hankerson, WR, WAS
2.07 The Regulators - Jacquiz Rodgers, RB, ATL (The Warriors made this pick, but then traded with The Regulators)
Trading my 2011 2.08, 3.08 & 5.06 to get RB Jacquizz Rodgers as a handcuff to RB M.Turner as a change of pace RB, Rodgers will give some much needed relief to the aging overworked Turner in the mold of Darren Sproles in place of J.Norwood and J.Snelling possibly moving to FB.
2.08 The Warriors - Dion Lewis, RB, PHI
2.09 Bulldawg - Torrey Smith, WR, BAL
2nd pick was Torrey Smith. In my opinion the best option at WR in the draft. Now there is plenty of talent at WR I ranked higher than Smith, but none with Flacco at QB who has a dismal WR corp. This may be a 3 year waiting period, but I am pretty confident that the Baltimore offense with it's immense backfield, is going to give Smith some looks in the play action game.
2.10 Crescent City Cutthroats - Randall Cobb, WR, GB
I really wanted to grab Greg Little, Jon Bladwin, or Leonard Hankerson with this pick but none of those guys fell to me. I decided to go with the WR I thought had the best chance to play and put up numbers. With Donald Driver going into retirement in the next couple of years and Rodgers just finding his stride, I like Cobb's situation better than Pettis, Young, Salas, or Gates.
2.11 Crescent City Cutthroats - Blaine Gabbert, QB, JAC
I bolstered my WRs with my first two picks so this was the pick I was going to use on RB/QB depending on BPA. I didnt feel good about any of the RBs left at this spot so I focused on QB and picked the guy I felt had the most talent. His situation is not as ideal as Kapernick or Dalton's but I think he will end up being a better QB in the long run.

2.12 The Warriors - Evan Royster, RB, WAS

Round 3

3.01 The Warriors - Jaiquawn Jarrett, S, PHI
3.02 Team Ramrod - Austin Pettis, WR, STL
I grabbed my three running backs that I wanted, so now it time to focus on another position. I was eyeing Torrey Smith, Austin Pettis and Blaine Gabbert with this pick and would be happy with any of them. Smith and Gabbert both went in the late second round, so Pettis was the player I was set on. St. Louis’ offense started to spark last year with Bradford at the helm. There isn’t a clear cut number one wide receiver right now. I have Amendola sitting on my bench right now. I figure either Amendola or Pettis will have break out seasons this year.
3.03 GoToLeep - Titus Young, WR, DET
3.04 Bulldawg - Taiwan Jones, RB, OAK
3rd pick with Oakland RB Taiwan Jones was a total stretch. That is a pretty crowded backfield in Oakland, and I highly doubt Jones will move far enough up the depth chart to matter, but he is shifty, quick, and was fun to watch at Eastern Washington. I am going to taxi him and watch what develops.
I obviously have a need at RB, which made me pass on Ryan Mallet. That really hurt because NE is in the perfect situation to prepare him and the team for the future. I honestly didn't think he would go that early, I chose Jones in the 3rd figuring Mallet would be there for me in the 4th. I won't forget this draft 5 years from now, when Mallet is the anchor for the Nipples team, and Jones is long gone from mine! What could have been...
3.05 Superfluous Nipple - Bilal Powell, RB, NYJ
The RB pickings were slim at this point but Powell had a break-out senior season at Louisville. He had been very pedestrian before that so he slipped under the radar and fell on draft boards but with the Jets I think he has a good chance to contribute early in his career. Greene is the starter but he has not proven yet that he can handle a full load. LT is getting a good number of touches but is another year past 30. And McKnight has been a big disappointment after one season. In addition to this situation OC Schottenheimer recently described Powell as an "explosive runner" with "great vision."
3.06 The Warriors - Mason Foster, LB, TB
3.07 ShawnP - Greg Salas, WR, STL
3.08 The Warriors - Patrick Peterson, CB, ARI
3.09 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Colin Kaepernick, QB, SF
Instead of coming out of the draft with only one QB, Kaepernick gives me two QBs to groom. He isn't going to be the starter from day one but he has the ability to be a starter in the league with a great coach with a track record of producing great college QBs. At this spot in the draft, I feel he was a steal.
3.10 Bodeys Ballers - Andy Dalton, QB, CIN
3.11 Superfluous Nipple - Ryan Mallet, QB, NE
At 3.05 there were still a few QBs and WRs on the board that I hoped would make it to my next pick at 3.11. As it turned out WR Salas, QB Kaepernick and QB Dalton came off the board leaving 2 WRs and 1 QB on my short list. After the mini QB run Mallett was the obvious choice here. If not for his attitude he's an early 1st round pick, maybe #1 overall. Under Brady and BB I suspect that attitude will change over the next season or two. He couldn't have fallen into a better spot for his long term success IMO. What I expect though is for Mallett to be showcased some for a trade in few years. He has too many tools for a team not to take a chance on him down the road as their starter.
3.12 Osiris - Edmond Gates, WR, MIA

Round 4

4.01 Superfluous Nipple - Vincent Brown, WR, SD
After 3.11 there were 2 WRs I liked. So I traded up to 4.01 to make sure I got one of them. Brown isn't a speedster or tall like the other SD WRs. But all reports are he's already a polished route runner (which is what usually holds back rookie WRs) and has good hands, catching the ball away from his body as displayed in a stand out Senior Bowl performance. With a QB like Rivers to work with and this possibly being VJax last season in SD there's room for Brown to move up the depth chart in the next year or two in a very good offense.
4.02 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Johnny White, RB, BUF
Owning the other 2 parts of the Buffalo RB corps, I finished off the group by drafting White. FJax turned 30 this year and Spiller hasn't shown the ability he flashed in college. With those things in mind, White is a great sleeper pick and a great depth pick in this spot of the draft.
4.03 Bodeys Ballers - Von Miller, LB, DEN
4.04 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Kyle Rudolph, TE, MIN
Kyle Rudolph looks like he could be a great TE and Shiancoe isn't getting any younger. Great value here.
4.05 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Robert Quinn, DE, STL
I was in need of DE depth and Quinn was a great pick here. Sack machine and all around beast. I think he starts producing right off rip.
4.06 ShawnP - Stevan Ridley, RB, NE
4.07 Team Ramrod - Nate Irving, LB, DEN
With this pick I wanted to go defense because of the line backer talent that was available. I was eyeing Mason Foster and Nate Irving. I thought either of them would fall to the fourth round. I was very surprised to see Foster go that high in the third, but he is a special talent. Everyone is high on Von Miller, but not many people were talking about Nate Irving. I think Irving will put up better numbers than Von Miller this year. Irving is a beast of a man and will be a formidable force in Denver’s 4-3 defense.
4.08 The Regulators - Denarious Moore, WR, OAK
WR Denarius Moore is the typical speedster that the Raiders love and since DHB has a been a bust thus far he could get a shot as a starter sooner than later.
4.09 Bulldawg - Nick Fairley, DT, DET
4th pick was Nick Fairley. I think that it goes with out saying that Ndamukong Suh is the real deal in Detroit. There isn't a single O-Lineman that is going to stop him, and even double teams will only slow him down. I am actually hoping that the double teams will slow Suh down just enough to let Fairley grab some stats.
4.10 Osiris - Tandon Doss, WR, BAL
4.11 Crescent City Cutthroats - Lance Kendricks, TE, STL
By the time this pick came around, all of the guys I liked were taken and I was left with BPA. I feel like Kendricks will put up better FF numbers than anyone else left on the board. I took him but not out of need.
4.12 The Warriors - J.J. Watt, DE, HOU

Round 5

5.01 The Warriors - Casey Matthews, LB, PHI
5.02 Crescent City Cutthroats - Marcell Darius, DE, BUF
Same issue here. Not really anybody I was in loved with so I decided to draft the most talented kid at the oddest position to fill. I feel like the feild of DTs are light so I took best one on the board.
5.03 GoToLeep - Bruce Carter, LB, DAL
5.04 Bulldawg - Da'Rel Scott, RB, NYG
5th pick was Da'rel Scott, RB for the G-Men. I need depth at RB, and I see Scott as a work in progress. I got a chance to catch the bowl game against East Carolina and the dude exploded, I had him in the back of my head since then. Great speed, and hands. With that ability to catch the ball out of the backfield I am hoping the Giants can groom him into an all around back, another taxi/develop situation for my team.
5.05 The Regulators - Martez Wilson, LB, NO
Martez Wilson has the good fit label in New Orleans and will compete for a role as a starting LB in 2011.
5.06 The Warriors - Cameron Jordan, DE, NO
5.07 ShawnP - Jerrel Jernigan, WR, NYG
5.08 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Prince Amukamara, CB, NYG
The Fresh Prince should get a shot to start his rookie year and will likely see a lot of targets. Great depth pick here.
5.09 GoToLeep - Justin Houston, LB, KC
5.10 Bodeys Ballers - Jordan Todman, RB, SD
5.11 Drooling Miscreants – Skipped Pick
5.12 Drooling Miscreants - Jacquian Williams, LB, NYG

Round 6

6.01 Drooling Miscreants - Chris Conte, S, CHI
6.02 Drooling Miscreants - Christian Ballard, DT, MIN
6.03 Bodeys Ballers - Cameron Jordan, TE, CLE
6.04 GoToLeep - Luke Stocker, TE , TB
6.05 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Skipped Pick
6.06 ShawnP - Da'Quan Bowers, DE, TB
6.07 Team Ramrod - Jabaal Sheard DE, CLE
With my last pick I wanted to get some depth at defensive linemen. Sheard has shown a very good speed rush/bull rush and should make the starting lineup in Cleveland this year.
6.08 The Regulators - Aldon Smith, LB, SF
Aldon Smith could make an impact as a starting OLB in the 49ers 3-4 defensive scheme as a sack specialist off the edge.
6.09 Bulldawg - Allen Bradford, RB, TB
Last Pick was Allen Bradford. I doubt we have anything here, but I figured he may be a goal line bruiser type back that may grab some 1 yd TD's, we'll see...
6.10 GoToLeep - Jimmy Smith, CB, BAL
6.11 Charlotte Lynx Cats! - Skipped Pick
6.12 The Warriors - Cameron Heyward, DE, PIT
