We need to save this post so we can be reminded how much some of the Outlaws drink a lot before they post..........:nod:
While anything can happen, why wasn't Pike drafted higher if he will be "much better" in the long run than Clausen? NFL teams don't care where someone went to school and they generally aren't influenced by how much press somebody gets. Clausen was drafted 4 rounds higher than Pike because he is more talented and based on where they were drafted, it's not even close.
I know that draft position doesn't guarantee success, especially in QBs, but it gives you an idea of potential. System and coaching play a large part of course, but assuming the same opportunity, I don't buy the "much better" in the long run stance.............
