10/01/11 Alabama -4 @ Florida

Oh the Gators can chomp dim Bama boys in dare behinds butt these only weighs dat dim gators win dis won is ef the Tide beats dimselves. Dose foe purnts scares me a wee lil' bit doze, eye wish dat dare spread wasn't sew hi.

If you look at each teams stats thru the first 4 games they are pretty even. QBs have matching td/int ratio and almost same amount of yards, each of the teams 3 main RBs are almost identical and it goes the same for the WR crew also. Offensivily they both run/pass yardage wise pretty close to each other. Defensivily Very similar in yards given up against the run and pass. With all that being said, to make a better desicion on the most probably winner is look at opponents played thru 4 games. Really think this game will come down to the team with the better defence. And that would be 'Bama. Have to give them the edge here but i don't count the Gators out pulling the upset. For FLA to win they have to play mistake free football and force Bama to turn it over a few times. Plus they do have a hostile crowd as their 12th man. If Bama can pressure Brantly and make him make some dumb mistakes, then Bama will cover the spread pretty easily. Gonna be a good game and hope my Gators can pull it out.

Brantly will be the key here if they have any chance of winning. He has to play mistake free football and not lose the game for them.

I bet on Bama a few minutes ago and went back to my motel room and thought about it a bit more. I still like Bama in this game but Florida comes to Baton Rouge next week. Can Bama beat them in Florida and then LSU handle them in the Red Stick. We know the Gators will get whooped in Tiger Stadium so my thinking has become that they have to win this game tonight or face losing 2 in a row. I'm doubling up on the Gators to do whatever it takes tonight.

Bama, Bama
Bama won't you bite my ass.

Study long, study wrong. Ain't that what "they" say?

Bama makes next weeks game a little harder on LSU as we'll be seeking to hand the Gators their second straight loss of the season. Harry Oil Well!

Just couldnt believe it played out like that. Almost like UF put it in cruise control after the first quarter. When they had to settle for the 3 instead of the 6 it seemed to change the momentum of the game and they never really challenged the rest of the way. Can't figure out how they just handled pass happy UT but lose that bad to Bama. Now next up is LSU. Interesting to see if they come in to play or have already thrown in the towel for the season.
