14 team. 1 keeper. Full PPR. RB, WR, WR, FLEX
I kept Jarvis Landry for a 5th round pick. 9 other teams also kept players that range from Allen Robinson to Gurley to Decker to David Johnson.
I drafted 10th out of 14, so my 1st pick was basically the 20th off the board when you consider keepers.
Leveon was still there! WTF. So obviously I roll my eyes and take him. Goes around the corner and now I'm at pick #29 overall. I stare at Eddie Lacy and Randall Cobb for a few minutes, and decide to pretend that it's still 2008, and I go RB-RB.
Now into the 3rd and there were some awful selections and huge reaches. Back to back picks in the middle of the round go Dion Lewis-Michael Crabtree. It gets to me at #48 overall and Demaryius is still there. Again, another dude I don't really want, but WTF is he still doing there? I really want to gamble on the upside of Moncrief or Mike Floyd at this point, but I roll my eyes and take DT.
Of course, Floyd and Moncrief go in the next 8 picks, and now I'm up again at # 57 overall. I decide this will be my first "reach" for an upside guy that I know won't make it back to me. Marvin Jones.
5th round: Keeper. Jarvis Landry
6th round. The one pick that I truly wish I could have back. I get flustered when Delanie Walker goes one pick before me, and I'm left with no plan. So I just grab the handcuff in DeAngelo Williams. So dumb. Wasted pick. Could have reached a bit and grabbed QB or Eifert here.
7th round and it's eye rolling time again. Pick #94 overall. Freaking DeVante Parker is still sitting there, and I already have Landry. I don't want Parker, but his upside is undeniable. I look at the long list of QBs. Stafford, Tyrod, Cousins, Jameis(who is the guy I really want), Rivers, Eli. I figure I can easy wait, so I decide to take Parker. The whole room groans, especially the 4 guys behind me.
8th round. Eli and Rivers both go before its back to me. I examine the board. Only 2 on the 9 teams behind me havent addressed QB. Still 4 QBs that I'll live with out there. I figure Jameis will get back to me, so I go upside again with Derrick Henry.
Then Stafford, Cousins, Jameis and Joe Flacco go in the next 18 picks.
9th round. Back to me and I snap pick Tyrod Taylor. No brainer.
10th round. Well, I've missed on TE time and time again. First Delanie goes one pick before me in the 6th, and Eifert went 2 picks before me in the 7th. I shrug my shoulders and take Ebron. So now I've got 2 shares of Detroits passing game.
11th round. Justin Forsett. Whatever. Don't even know what I'm doing at this point. Hoping he has a big start and I can ship him to a RB needy team before Dixon comes back and quietly pushes for that job.
12th round. Need another upside TE. ASJ. Actually has a fantastic PPG average last year.
