So the defending Champions are making history again. The will be the first team in NFL history to be on the road against a sub .500 team in the playoffs.....YES, ON THE ROAD!! In one of those things that makes no sense, the Seahawks by way of the NFC West will host the defending Super Bowl Champions on Saturday to kick off the 2011 playoffs.

Talk about everything leading up to the game here and be sure sto stop by on Saturday to discuss the game as well!

This will be the first real test of all them new pumps they have installed since Katrina. They will need them come Saturday once the tears start flowing. Might blow the dykes from the inside out this time

Kinda screwy how Seattle got the #4 seed with a losing record yet the Saints get the #5 seed with a winning record. Just shows the playoffs should be for the best not cause you won the division. Sad the TB and NYGs are sitting at home with winning records. But so be it. This game will be a blow out. NO starters should be sitting by the 4th QTR.

Saints minus Ivory and PT Cruiser the rest of the season. They'll skate by Seattle but not get past Atlanta.

And the Superbowl should no longer be between AFC and NFC because we have had so many blowouts over the years

Just how are you suggesting the regular season schedule should be drawn up without conferences and divisions, or are you saying it should be a college style voting system for who gets into the playoffs

oh hell no. saying a 7-9 team shouldnt get in over a 10-6 team. thats it nothing else. said nothing about the college ways. and to set it straight, college has no voting on who gets in the playoffs, since their is no playoffs. Just way to many bowl games.

Seattle is getting way to much credit for being here. Even they know that, why else would they feel the need to make those playoff comments? Might be a good game for a qtr but NO runs away with it, covers spread easily and resting starters by the end of the game. Which is good since not sure how long i can look at those ugly 'Hawks uniforms. What color is that again? Baby poop and white ?

They held their in NO earlier this year until Big Mike got hurt.

Early prediction: Earl Thomas steals two from Brees. Mud drinks to drown his sorrows.

This is the playoffs tho. Just a warmup game for next week when they face Chicago or Atlanta.

You're right, and the Hawks best game this year was in Chicago. It's all coming together like a Hollywood script.
