I have been offered Vincent Jackson & Le'Ron McClain for Mike Bell & A.Gonzales.

My WR: are (starters) S.Moss, Mario Manningham, (bench) Jeremy Maclin and the injured Gonzalez.

RB: starters are Brandon Jacobs, M.Bell, (bench) K.Moreno, Shonn Green

Its a 3 point per TD (rushing, passing, receiving) Non-PPR 5 player keeper IDP league.

I dont like the offer, your views are much appreciated. :D

BTW: This offer is from the commissioner of the league and kicked his ass week one 90 to 71 :thrash:

This post is officialy deleted, Trade denied ;)
Lesson learned for me, check the team roster making the trade offer before doing anything else, lots of intel to be found.

He was going for the handcuff as he already had Pierre Thomas.

I have so much to learn master, yes you do grasshopper :grin:
 
I would've taken that trade in a second. The one rule about fantasy is always get the best player in the trade. Vincent Jackson was the best player. Giving him his handcuff means nothings for that passing offense and Le'Ron McClain is a TD vulture.
 
I would have made that trade in heart beat also. You were definately getting the better end of the deal. Piere Thomas is good, and once he is healthy Mike Bell has little value. He was a perfect sell high candidate. You dropped the ball on that one.
 
One more thing. When considering a trade you cant look (nessisarily) what it does for his team. You have to look at how it is going to improve your team.

But keeping Bell was the best for my team as i would have been thin @ RB. I dont see the Saints benching M.Bell when P.Thomas makes his return after his stellar performance.

Vincent Jackson vs. Mario Manningham Compare the stats for week 1.

I did not see an upside to getting Jackson, Manningham has comparable week 1 stats as a 3rd WR for the G-Men, with Hakeem Nicks out for the foreseeable future Manningham will be a target for Manning, D.Hixon is an after thought.
