The 2025/2026 Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Now that the draft is over, and the big free agent moves have gone by.......

While I haven't been on here in a long time, as fantasy football took a back seat to my life, I have gotten back into following football pretty closely for a while now. Not so much as a fantasy football guy (though I am getting interested in that again), but as a fan of the NFL, College Football, and that other pro football league that is actually pretty fun to watch.....

This year, Dallas has managed to find themselves in a pretty tough schedule. The final stretch of the season is against a record that may be tougher than any other team in the league.

That said, I am predicting that we are about to see the best season from the Dallas Cowboys that we have seen in many years.

What happened in free agency? Players that this team desperately needed were brought in. You may have been looking for that one big signing, but that isn't what this offseason was about. Holes were filled. Depth was added.

What about this year's draft? Something different happened. It's like Jerry Jones and his entire family was secluded away from the draft room. Ok, Dallas took a stud offensive guard in the first round. That one isn't surprising, as Dallas has a history of doing this.

They followed this by complementing (and challenging) Micah Parsons with another potential stud EDGE in Donovan Ezeiruaku. Which one are you going to single team? The thin defensive front now will have Quarterbacks having to seriously worry about pressure coming from both sides on a regular basis.

Revel is a steal where the Cowboys got him. This is first round talent that the Cowboys desperately needed in the secondary. This guy is ready to play, and as this secondary comes together later in the season, this should be a very dominating defense.

Jaydon Blue: this is the wildcard pick for me. With the offseason moves, offensive line upgrades, this guy will be a beast. The guy is crazy fast. He fumbled 4 times, and I have zero doubt that is 100% coachable.

2025 Season Prediction? This team will go 13-4. That's right, 13-4. This will secure an NFL East title, and this team will finally win in the playoffs.

Beyond that prediction, I feel pretty strongly that this team can make it to the NFC championship, and would not be surprised at all to see them in the Super Bowl. No ta prediction, because that is just silly, but I think the talent is there this year.

But they were a 7 win team last year! A 7 win team that was decimated with injuries. A 7 win team that put winning on the back of the QB, which is not where it will be this season. This year's Dallas Cowboys will win with a combination of defense, and a very strong running game. The passing game will put up really nice fantasy numbers, but it will be because of defense and run offense.

Interesting read. I wonder if the NFC east is going to be so competitive that none of the teams can get 13 wins. Assuming splits between Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas - means each team can only lose one more game. Eagles have a huge challenge first two weeks with Dallas first then KC week 2.

I will say this for Dallas - they did what they needed on O-line. Not sure I like the RB room as much as you Mike. Sanders has proven he isn't all that, and not sure what we will get from Javonte Williams full year recovered. Blue is an interesting pick though.

I am not quite ready to predict the Eagles yet. I am hoping beyond hope they still make a move or two prior to start of season. Personally would love to see them add Hendrickson, but I think he wants way too much money for Philly.

Should be an exciting season, even think Giants have improved this year and could be competitive.

My question will be Playoffs will be dominated by NFC East and NFC North - I can see Philly, Washington, Detroit, Minnesota, Green Bay and potentially Dallas making the playoffs.

Leaves nothing but division champs for NFC South and West
