GB - per reports Packers willing to extend Rodgers 2 years to make him highest paid Qb
ARI - Murray feels he is being blamed, and isn't happy, doubt anything comes of this
SEA - A lot of smoke out there about team may be willing to deal Russell Wilsont
LAR - Odell Beckham Jr will wait for MRI to see how bad the damage is to his knee
CIN - Joe Burrow also will get knee checked, but he had no intention of not playing....
LAR - Cooper Kupp named Superbowl MVP
LVR - Raiders are prepared to talk extension with Derek Carr
IND - expected to trade or cut Carson Wentz prior to March 18th, when his salary gets guaranteed
N.O. - Saints not expected to trade Michael Thomas - per reports he is back in New Orleans and working with team for treatment
 
LAR - being reported that it appears OBJ tore his ACL again, which will effect his FA status and $$$$

A lot of negative comments coming from players about playing on turf and the need to require grass fields.

I agree totally, but will never happen due to costs. Amazing that there are still so many crappy fields in the age. Bosa and Thomas tore ACLs last year on that crapass field the Jets play on.
 
The Bears have grass and it's widely seen as one of the worst fields to play on. They need a surface like pro wrestling. Almost like a bouncey castle. :D
 
I thought the new terf's being put in were better, as they use a very thick spongy base of ground up tires, which is why you get terf nerds all over the place? Has that changed?

Bears issue with their natural field is the weather late in year and it getting tore up and not being fixable. One reason an open stadium up north has issues....
 
They will likely have a new stadium but it is at least 5 years away in Arlington park. Probably will have a retractible roof but too soon to say obviously. They are purchasing the land this year.

Another antique stadium with all its history getting replaced again and will no doubt have a corporate name on it

Rumors flying that Brady is trying to get to SF, not come back to Tampa Bay, which I think is crud and just trying to keep his podcast numbers up
There is some ....smoke that if there is any real proof, that Miami was paying to tank, that Stephen Ross could lose the team by vote of owners.

Oh I love this, have seen some rumors about O'Connell may be waiting to see if McVay does retire and go to broadcasting, and stay with Rams instead..... Will he go McDaniels on Minnesota?

CIN - per PFT reports state Burrow did not seriously injure his knee and does not need surgery. Bengals dodge a bullet.

MIN - Vikings finalizing deal for O'Connell as HC, also interviewing Rams RB coach Thomas Brown to be new OC for Vikings
 
Latest on Adrian Peterson - will not face felony charges for domestic abuse - no punches thrown, only yelling on plane
 
ARI - Does the Kyler Murray story have legs? - so now its being reported that Murray took himself OUT of the playoff game with 1 min. left - basically said he was done. Now he was injured, and was playing hurt, but team makes it sound like a maturity issue and or leadership issue. If you are Arizona and you really want to keep this guy - why are you letting this stuff out?
- Is team trying to kill his value so they can keep him on his current contract? - he has 1 year left and then option year...and is up for extension for first time.
- Is this Murray's side to force the team to negotiate to get extension? - by making himself look bad???


Quite honestly, if I were New Orleans I would go all in to get him - he is a better, MUCH better version of Taysom Hill and he has two years to help your cap strapped team.
 
GB - drive to move west may be lessened as Rodgers has ended his engagement to Shayne Woodley - so Denver not the favorite??
ATL - Falcons release Dante Fowler
NYG - OT Andrew Thomas had ankle surgery last month
